I did charge it initially, but I’ve never had any issues since then and I’ve done over 500 miles in riding so it must have been an issue between the connections. I just cleaned them and it’s fixed the problem. The kiox should get charged every time you are biking. If not, you have a connection...
No, they never came back to me. After a bit of investigating, and being told various different wrong stories, I found out that the kiox is meant to charge when the bikes on and your using it. If it’s not, theirs an issue with the connection as I’ve not had an issue since and that’s been a while...
I’ve ordered it twice and it comes with only one, which from previous comments must come with boost as it fits perfectly, and is not quick release ??♂️
So how do you know what it comes with? Why does it say both? The one I have fitted okay, but it’s not hybrid. Have ordered a hybrid now, from Germany. ??♂️
Ok, next issue is getting one? Let’s just say that I change to Shimano and change my Freehub. What one do I need? Is it this? Do I need a different end cap for boost wheels as is says 142mm ?
I’m open to options, but what freehub is required to change to Shimano as I’ve been told a DT Swiss Shimano micro spline but should it be a hybrid for the ebike?
My Wild FS M10 is needing a new 12 speed cassette. I have DT Swiss H-1900 Spline 30c TLR, Boost wheels with a Sun Race CSMZ80 11-51t, 12-Speed cassette at present. Finding a cassette is a nightmare but I can get a Shimano 12 speed 11-51T but will need a DT Swiss Shimano micro spleen 3 pawl...
The battery level shown on the Kiox is still the ebike 625wh battery level. It stores it even when you disconnect it. Likewise it does not go up when you charge the kiox using a usb cable. It’s not the kiox level. I do not think you can get that anywhere.
I don’t think that’s correct. The Bosch website says you need to charge your Kiox every 3 months for an hour so it must not get any charge from the 625wh battery at all, albeit it should still work if it’s on the mount, even if it has a low battery.
Yes, it charges fine. I’m just concerned about it running out whilst out on a ride and then the motor goes off. I got the bike in June last year but haven’t charged the kiox once. Didn’t realise I needed to. The Bosch website says you need to do it for an hour every 3 months so it clearly...
Only thing is, when I put the battery on to charge with it in the bike and via the frame plug the Kiox turns on so it definitely knows it’s connected as it then reads what charge the 625wh battery is at and stays on. Hope that makes sense.
