I use compressed air to blow that area out every once in a while.
Positive data point:
700 miles/1126 km 2022 Levo Expert stock with 2.3 grid tires Butcher/Purgatory (the 2.6 stock tires too floaty)
No issues (knock on carbon) Not unfamiliar with Turbo levels. Very rocky and dry riding in...
That Levo Pro build is pretty nice. One caveat, I hesitate to endorse the Gen 3 Levo because of the anecdotal reports of some people going through motors and X2 shocks like a hot knife through butter; however, I'm at almost 400 miles (which in reality is not much) and the motor and X2 are going...
It definitely took some 'force' for lack of a better term. I did loosen the housing port bolt on the head tube a couple of turns. Also, the water bottle cage bolts thread into a housing guide for the dropper inside the frame. Loosened those a bit as well. You can see where that is if you...
I went with the Expert as well for the XO1 bits, the 38 Performance Elite and the Roval Traverse alloy wheels. They did cheap out on the cassette though - Eagle 1275 GX.
Only $250 USD more than the comp's sale price, though I did work a deal for $7900. Hard to pass up considering it was an...
My large SL is built as a trail bike. 160mm Pike Ult, Fox DPS, Spez 2.3 Grid tires. Alloy wheels, Bike Yoke R, titanium railed saddle. As pictured with full water bottle, tube strap w/2 c02 cartridges, 1 Up pump with integrated EDC tool →42.77 pounds. With just the water bottle cage (pump...
Same here. Have gone full fat. Couldn't pass on $3k off the Expert Levo.
Have been waiting for the new SL for awhile. My SL is now for sale.
The Gen 3 Levo is amazing.
The claims that the Levo's weight seemingly disappears once you start riding are true. The Fox 38 and X2 are amazing. So fun.
This ^.
What Slurette said.
Pay attention.
We're talking about the new SL, not the FF Levo. BTW, 5000+ miles on my SL. Had one motor malfunction at 2000 miles. Had a new motor installed in less than 2 weeks, been going strong ever since. And my motor doesn't rattle like a claptrap.
A friend just scored a KSL (11k) for 7k.
Pandemic pendulum swinging the other way now.
Now the question is, wait for the Levo gen4 even after the new SL is released?
All of the Levo SL bikes just went on sale (USA), I'm guessing that the new SL will be unveiled springtime.
I'll probably sell my current SL and decide whether to buy the new SL or just go full fat.
FF might make more sense for me because I still ride a S-Works Stumpy about half the time...
