I have a wound that I'm currently recovering from where I became inattentive while using my angle grinder. It was through my glove and the first layers of skin and nerves so fast I hardly even felt it. Luckily I stopped that movement before it went through to my finger joint. They are nasty.
No issues although I would have hoped if Bosch could get 15 more Nm of torque out of a firmware upgrade that Yamaha could have gotten some with an upgrade to theirs. Did they just get it right the first time so they didn't need the upgrade? Not really sure if it needs it though. My problem isn't...
As long as he earned it legitimately who are you to say he has too much money? He brings up a point that he wants to discuss and comments like yours only discourage future discourse. Keep in mind that the money he spends on bikes goes to support those who make the bike parts, build the bikes...
What kind of climbs do you have around you? I found love on my Haibike All-Mountain when I climbed a hill there wasn't a hope in hell of getting half way up on an accoustic bike. An ebike will never be as nimble as an accoustic bike but once you challenge yourself with some awesome climbs I...
Has anyone gone to a 29" front on their All Mountain? At 66 degrees it has a reasonably steep head angle. Wondering if going to a 29" front would do me better over the big rocks and wash outs I typically have to deal with where I ride. It would also slacken the head angle and raise my bottom...
Knut7, I did see this review and enjoyed it. Your reviews are very informative and I always look forward to watching them. Looking forward to your review on the software upgrade for the Bosch Gen4 motor.
Levindown, Thanks for the response. I thought the PW-X2 was supposed to have better response than the PW-X at higher cadence levels while maintaining excellent power at a lower cadence. Sounds like that might not be the case in your situation.
Found a great deal on a new 2020 Haibike All Mountain 2.0 with the PW-X2 motor. I'm a big guy, 105 Kg, who plans on carrying some kit on my back for overnight trips in the back county of the Rocky Mountains and the Utah desert. I like the PW-X2 because it now apparently works well at a high...
I've submitted comments to the BLM and Dept of Agriculture (Forest Service). My understanding that the Dept of Interior (Parks Service) already allows Class I ebikes on the same trails as acoustic bikes. I think as a group we need to differentiate between Class I ebikes (pedal assist with speed...
Agreed. The shops near me want $100+/day to rent an e mtb. They'll credit you the money if you buy the bike but if a shop will let you demo a bike for free then you do end up coming out ahead in the end. I'd go back to the shop and explain to them that you weren't given a charged battery and...
Has anyone ridden the NOX with the Sachs RS? The Sachs site also shows a collaboration with Bulls but if you click on the link it doesn't take you to a Bulls bike with the motor. Rob Hancill, any plans to demo this bike in the near future?
Your poor customer service may have something to do with Felt's recent sale to Rossignol. There may have been some behind the scenes issues with regard to committing additional funds to correct legacy issues either on the part of Felt ownership which may have been heading out the door or...
How much do you weigh? I'm looking at the e30 for my first emtb but expect to have 260 lbs in the bike between me and my pack. Any issues with the Steps 8000 getting you up the steepest hills? There are some really steep climbs in Colorado I'd like to attempt.
