Can anyone recommend a good stable stand for an electric mountain bike. I'm not looking for a maintenance stand but something like a parking stand where the front or rear wheel fits in. I have a plastic one but the bike is too heavy for it.

Where do you store your phone and car keys when riding the more challenging trails when parting company with the bike is more likely? I don't like to carry a back pack unless I have to, on a long ride for example, so that's not an option.

What are peoples opinions? After some research I have decided to give them a try. There seems to be a split in opinion. Those coming from a flattie background love them those who use clipless don't. I think this is perfectly rational and understandable view but I would be interested to hear...
I won't be getting out much on my Orbea Wild over the winter months. It's kept in an attached garage but is there anything I should be doing to keep it in good condition, especially with regard to the battery and tubeless tyres?

For some reason I find it much easier to turn my bike upside down and present the wheel to the frame in that manner. The issues with this are:
1. The bike is a little unstable when I get to the point that it is resting on the saddle.
2. I have to cover the saddle to prevent damage.
3. I also...
I have seen some Oakley prescription sun glasses that are marketed as "directly glazed". Does this mean that they do not need those clip on inserts that make you look like someone in a Benny Hill sketch? I have also seen posts on here saying that people have them with a varifocal prescription...
I have an estate car that I can get my Orbea into the rear of but it's quite hard work and the pedals get in the way. I am thinking about making a polystyrene "sledge" to help with the process. This should work well when I get my boot-buddy liner but I can't find a source for the material...
Does anyone know where I can get hold of a boot liner that provides all round protection with the back seats down. All the ones I've looked at clip onto the rear seats and leave the backs of the front seats and the rear doors exposed.

I've just added one to my Orbea Wild FS. It has a magnetic securing method with an optional screw fixing. Although the magnet feels quite strong I was wondering how many people supplemented the magnet with either the screw fixing or a small lanyard. And perhaps more to the point what are peoples...
I own a Bell Super DH convertible helmet but only recently felt that I was riding fast/competently enough to warrant wearing it in full face mode. I've developed the habit of riding Blue, Red and single dot routes in half face and putting the chin guard on when I go onto the two dot downhills...
I've got a Bosch Kiox display/controller on order for my Orbea Wild FS. Not sure if this is a stupid question or not and I cannot find any reference to the issue. If you disconnect the display unit does the controller still control the motor?
Al
Can't decide. Which would you go for and why? I've been looking at Rhino boot liners vs the Evoc bike cover. Both cost about the same although I'm currently favouring the Rhino. Hatchbags get good reviews but cost twice as much and you need to buy extras to get them to provide the same cover as...
I own an Orbea Wild FS H20. The only thing I dislike about the bike is the Purion display/controller. I'm thinking of upgrading to the Kiox. Does anyone have any experience of carrying out this upgrade? How difficult is it to fit? Do you have to drop the motor?
Al
I own an Orbea Wild FS which I love and have been riding since last September. The only thing I dislike is the Purion display and controller. I see that it is possible to upgrade to a Kiox unit for around £200.00. I have a few questions.
1. Is it worth doing?
2. Is it worth the money?
3...
Can anyone recommend a good, not too expensive gear duffel bag with separate compartments for helmet, shoes etc. and offering some protection for the helmet. I'm currently using a cheap "sneaker bag" but it has no protection and the partitions only use velcro which does not hold them in place...
I'm looking for routes in my local area in Gloucestershire around Cranham and Painswick Beacon. I know of 2 or 3 but I see videos of far more, some of which provide links to Strava segments providing maps etc., but when I look at Strava on my phone none are displayed. What am I not doing?

I recently discovered a few trails had been "decommissioned/closed" on TrailForks at the Forest of Dean in the UK. These are logged as "unsanctioned" but they are still within the Forestry Commission's land but outside of the remit of the Dean Trail builders group. My question is more about...
I've been riding for a year or so now mainly at FOD in the UK. I can get down the blue runs at a fair lick but find reds a bit of a challenge and to be honest I don't feel that I am doing them justice i.e. I'm nervous and slow. I do want to ride faster but decided against coaching because at...
