Has anyone found a way of locking the castelated chainring nut on bosch gen 4 drive units. Locktite last about six months. I thought of drilling the nut and wire locking but there's not much metal to drill into. Any ideas

I think I underestimated the wear on an eMTB over analogue bikes. The rear cluster looked like it had done 10 years rather than just one.
Oh well all down to experience. I'll check monthly now just to keep an eye on things.

My bike is 11 speed with a shimano chain, still standard cube reaction on the rear (my first chain broke on third ride though). I'm going to try a KMC E11 to see how that goes.

Fitted them in my minion DHF/B 230 tyres. Abit of a struggle but not too bad.
On the road, I lowered the pressure as suggested but the drag was high so pumped them back to 30psi which gave a normal feel, battery usage was up on a ride by 5 to 10 % so I guess they're still a bit draggy.

The joy of autumn...hedge cutting. I just dug three blackthorn spikes out of my tyres and wondered if there was a better way.
Anyone used tannus inserts. They look good but there's got to be down side.

Thanks for your thoughts.
I did think of that, the mech moves OK but may be a bit slow. I thought the chain may be getting a bit long too, I ride on sandy soils and chain life is in months not years.
I still wonder at the usefulness of the clutch (especially if it is transferring shocks into...
Hi
Just signed up to the forum.
I own a Cube Reaction Hybrid 625 which I love.
I've been riding off road in the uK for ages, started with the rough stuff fellowship back in the day. I bought first digital bike a year ago so have just seen the year around.
Cheers

Here's an interesting issue.
I've been chasing rattles on my '23 Cube reaction hybrid pro. I padded the battery housing, and tightened stuff up. I have it pretty quiet on the bridle ways apart from a rattle when it gets very bumpy. It sounded like chain whipping and stopped when I free wheeled...
