Correct, ebay would charge you nothing. However, ebay would leave the money in your account, in the hope that you will then spend it on ebay (and perhaps buy items from business sellers, who incur fees). Even if you choose to withdraw the money from your ebay account to your linked current...
there are no fees for private sellers on ebay - neither listing fees nor final value fees.
But, a private seller can't list a bike under the category for ebikes. However, people are circumventing that by listing ebikes under the category for bikes.
Are we expecting a new Kenevo at the same time as the Gen 4 Levo? I seem to remember reading something about a Long Travel version of the Levo, maybe to replace the Kenevo. Anyone know anything?
my understanding is that lots of frames compatible with Bosch CX Gen5 have this cutout in the top tube, presumably because Bosch have promised a controller/display unit which will fit the hole. How long we'll have to wait for this, and what it will cost, I've no idea.
My concern would be the 630Wh battery - which might be fine, but if you're riding with mates who've got bikes with 700/750/800Wh then you're at a disadvantage.
You're right about the Bosch being 'closed' to Garmin, it's annoying!
from their warranty policy document:
If you are a subsequent owner, meaning you are the second or later owner, and not the original retail purchaser, the following applies:
2-year Warranty from the date of original retail purchase for the following Specialized-branded Products: frames and...
according to their website, Raymon have no UK dealers, and I would guess that Pauls Cycles have picked these up in some sort of a fire sale (I've an idea Raymon still have some ties to the financially troubled Pierer Mobility group). It's got to be one of those "too good to be true" scenarios...
I've an idea that Raymon still has some ties to the troubled Pierer Mobility group, which might go some way to explaining the 'fire sale' price reduction.
I agree - and I'm only just over 6' - I ride an XL Levo (Gen2) and needed to fit higher bars than stock (though not 75mm! But I guess you can thank Dakotah Norton for making such a rise acceptable on a mountain bike). I don't think much thought or science goes into the determination of head tube...
Sams Bikes has a search tool that might be useful for finding bikes with the travel and battery size you're seeking Sam's Bikes - Pro Bike Compare e.g. Focus Sam2, Husqvarna HardCross, Haibike NDuro 8 Freeride.
Geometry Geeks is useful for finding and comparing reach and stack & all that...
a new 700 Wh battery is currently £900 I believe, but even if the bike is out of warranty, your dealer should be able to claim an assisted purchase (you probably need the original bike sale receipt for this). Specialized assess the claim and determine a price, which I believe is typically in the...
no Strive:ON in stock at all now; for a large CFR it gives a date of December, for a large LTD it says no date available (the Gen5 motor doesn't yet have a race edition) so I'm guessing the next stock will be the 2025 models with Gen5 motor.
I'm interested in this too. I took delivery of a Large Underdog (29% discount) last week, and in the last couple of days I've noticed that the discount is no longer available. So my first thought was that they must be switching to the Gen5. However, they're currently saying they will ship Large...
The Strive:ON has particularly long reach, and in various group tests journalists said they went for a Medium whereas with other bikes they went for Large. I think this is unique to the Strive:ON rather than Canyon generally. In the test by Loam Wolf, two of the testers at 6' 2" reckoned the...
