...might that be a 170mm fork with 44mm offset perchance? Reason being is that that is what I intend to do if Santa brings me some Christmas waste on bike money.
I must have those brakes..... the SRAMS that come on this are awful. I often wonder what they actually put in that huge box at each lever, maybe they are considering using one of them as the venue for the next Superbowl.
Hello All
I have a brand new Kenevo that I will slowly be upgrading. I got a good deal on the price but the colour of they frame is really quite rancid IMO. I have a good powdercoaters closeby and am thinking of sending it for a respray. The only problem is that I am not mechanically minded...
OP, I have the same bike as you, and yes it feels super draggy in stock form. I will be changing out the tyres and going tubeless once I decide whether to go with 29er wheels or not. Other than that the bike feels fabulous I have to say. Anyway let us know how you get on with a tyre change...
Ok 170mm it is! Thank you for the assistance chaps.
Regardless of the performance, I have to say the Kenevo is also a really good looking bike! The only manufacturer that could currently tempt me away is Nicolai, but I will have to wait for a lottery win to go down that route...
Hello All, I have just bought a Kenevo for what I would say is a good price. Had a few shots on a Levo first but always felt a bit 'over the bars' on it. Anyway, I am wanting to venture into the 29 wheel size world. I don't have much of a budget at present so am thinking of going with a...
Thanks Murch.
Yeah since my previous post I tried an S5 Levo again and it just felt too short to me. At the same time the S6 still felt huge, but I think I would have gone with this one if I had to chose.
In the end I went with an S5 Kenevo I happened to stumble on at a discount in a local...
Hello All
Have finally decided to buy a Kenevo Comp full fat - it looks like it will be the Gloss Green colour. The only thing is the pictures I can find online are all 'studio' shots and don't really show the colour properly. Does anybody have photos of this colour 'in the flesh' as it were...
Robin - that's great info thanks for your reply. It's good to get others' perspectives on these things.
I've never been right in between two bike sizes before - it's tough to choose!
What with fork length/ stem length/ stem rise/ bar rise/ stem spacers/ saddle moved back/ geometry chip...
Hello All
Going back and forth between sizes and need some guidance please if you would be so kind.
I am just over 6ft 2 with 35inch inseam (quite long legs). I have had a test ride on an S5 and an S6 Levo.
The S5 felt OK... ish... but I had a nagging feeling during the test ride that my...
I have just bought an alloy Levo comp and have set aside some money for upgrades.
Can I ask where you think any money is best spent on replacement components?
It appears you have been through this all already!
Also is that a full 29er?
Thank you so much all for the replies, I feel like I've learnt a fair bit.
I have had a shot on a Levo in S5 (I'm 6ft2) and felt a bit cramped, then tried an S6 and it felt much better. It's weird, most other eMTBs I tried in XL I felt like I could quite easily have an over the bars moment on...
Hello All
I have just joined - currently trying to choose between a Levo/ Wild/ Whyte as my first eMTB.
I stumbled across this forum, and whilst looking through old posts I couldn't help but notice how many more threads/ posts there are on the Levo than any other bike - like LOADS more.
Is...
