Hello!
I have a specialized turbo levo and a hurt back. I have been in the market for a bike rack with a ramp, but they are wildly expensive.
Has anyone had experience using the motor cycle style carriers? Can these safely hold a full suspension eMTB?
I am specifically looking at this...
I had surgery on both hips, and I hopped back on a bike 3 months after the 2nd surgery. Like an idiot, I overdid it and had to wait another year to get on a bike comfortably.
Still, I can only ride with a dropper and with a motor! You'll recover relatively quickly, just go SLOW.
I ended up getting a SixSixOne Reacon Advanced long sleeve instead of elbow pads. It's quite comfortable and light, and has strong elbow, shoulder and back protection and a bit of chest/rib padding.
Not cheap, but a nice piece of gear that's easy to slip on and off.
No problem! And wow, I just saw there is a local shop to me in CA that sells these. Looks like it'd be the same price(ish).

Did you pay with a credit card? I would dispute the transaction and let them battle it out for you. You did not get what you paid for. I am sorry to hear about this, and I hope you find a good solution.
That's a bummer about not matching the color. As others have mentioned, I think it looks good. This does make me happy, however, that I purchased a black bike.
Yeah, I just bought one from Merlin Cycles. Shipping was as much as the fender, but it was worth the purchase.
Edit: amazingly, shipping was 2-day.

Awesome, thanks. If you have a photo of your bike hanging in the stand I'd love to see it when it's clamped to the top tube. I have been meaning to try that on my '22 Levo, but the bar is not cyclinderical it's more oblong.
This is my first time with SRAM brakes, and the stock pads are quite a bit more expensive than I am used to. Has anyone discovered any alternatives that work well? I don't mind paying for the stock pads if they are the best option, but I figured it would be nice to crowd source if there are...
