Haters can get lost, honestly. I don't feel I need to justify anything as common and popular. Talking about it helping older or unfit people is still in excuse territory. Young people almost ALL lust after eMTBs.

Just imagine how you would feel if it broke first ride, or six weeks later, and everything you would actually do in that case.

Never use it, which is what almost every review I've seen except one also predicted.

Very little. I do sometimes, usually with non eMTB friends and family, but it's far less fun. I also think Acoustic is guitars, not bikes.

It gets pretty hot in Australia and staying cool is an important element of outdoor life. Also, skin cancer is rife. At 63kg I am far from fat and even on an eMTB, sun protection without overheating is a much discussed topic. Sun cream has its limits. Decathalon do great SPF 50+ long sleeved...

Wow, you didn't check the bike really after the crash, watch out! I also found the OG tyres on my Kenevo sketchy, in wet conditions, and swapped them long before they wore out. They were ok in dry conditions.

Sportscorp picked up an eBike from country Victoria and took it to Adelaide for $89. Whatever deal they have with the couriers is impressive.

Less fit certainly, in terms of pedalling power, although I ride far more often and by no means UNfit:)

Thanks, does your new one have an ANT logo on it? The sources I've seen say only the controllers with the logo have ANT, but mine does not, even though it is a new bike. I don't have anything with ANT on to test it and nor does anyone I know, plus we are in a Covid lockdown here with a 5km...

My new 2021 Trance E+ 2 does not have an ANT sticker on it, as i saw older ones had to have, but does anyone know if it will work with ANT devices anyway?

I got the 2 as the blue is amazing and the bike is still nicely specced. The 1 has a few nice pieces, but the 2 offers a really solid set of kit and has the same motor, battery, frame etc. I upgraded the brakes to XT but the ones it comes with (equal to 4 pot Deore) are almost the same in...

Good for normal XC bikes, but breakable rather than bendable and too much money for the difference on a typical eMTB.
