I ended up with the same set up, love it as well...I will keep my mullet for ever:LOL:. 29 on the back wheel really limits the fun factor for people with shorter legs. I would say if you need a frame M, than a 29 in the rear is probably to big, if you want fun.... It should come stock with a 27...

It dosen´t seem to come from down low...???it also gives you the sound when you release the force of the pedal. Have you tried some teflon betveen the pivot- and suspension bolts? Could be enough with just one little sand corn finding it´s way in somewhere...
