Hi, apologies if this has been answered countless times already but what's difference between the two Shimano apps? Which should I use for a Steps E8000 motor?
Surely anyone who buys a bike is a fan of that bike or bike company. Who buys a bike they don't like? In the first three lines of your text, "Santa Cruz" could be substituted by any bike brand name. Should buyers avoid companies with good/clever/well funded marketting campaigns? Perhaps the...
I think you're right that on paper it looks pretty middle-of-the-road and I wasn't expecting to like it having looked at the geo. I assumed I'd want it to be a degree slacker at the very least. Then I rode one for a couple of days and I was gob-smacked. The handling is amazing. We're all...
Yes. As soon as I get an EMTB! I'm not sure there are many of us in East Anglia. I fancy a Trek Rail and will defo be up for rides once I have one. I might make a trip there on my regular bike soon anyway.
Hmmm, I feared as much. Thanks for your reply. If that was its’ slackest then it’s not slack enough for my tastes. I guess it could be a fork offset thing but my Bird Aeris mk1 is 65* and feels more stable at speed.
I rode the Decoy at Gisburn and this is a zoomed-in screen-grab from my GoPro (as I was picking it up after I went OTB). Is this flip-chip set in slack or super-slack? I ask because I was surprised at how steep the steering/HA felt during the ride. I expected it to be slacker but it didn't occur...
I like the idea of the longer front end. I personally love a slack HA, with the steeper effective STA allowing for long reach without being over-stretched while sitting peddling, but I agree the chainstays seem way too long. I'd sacrifice 10mm of rear travel for 10mm shorter chainstays.
