    Pole Voima 190mm Travel EMTB

Yes I did a lower service before first use to clear out the excess grease in the air side. May I ask what pressure you're running?

    Pole Voima 190mm Travel EMTB

Great thanks very much. I was actually thinking of trying a TruTune insert as I'm struggling to get through the travel without running ~30sag. I'm ~72kg kitted up.

    Pole Voima 190mm Travel EMTB

Hey all, I know this is a bit lazy of me and that I should check for myself... but does anyone know how many tokens came pre-installed in their Zeb's straight from Pole? Edit: Actually looks like it's 0 tokens standard from Rockshox. Snip from the 2023 manual:

Did you check out my build tutorial earlier in this thread? Anything I can do to make it clearer/easier?

Thanks very much Koekie. PS such a great idea to debounce the hall sensor input - I didn't think of that! I wonder how using the static delay (160ms in your case) compares to the multiplier method? Below I plotted true input speed against both output methods to see how it looks. I used a 96ms...

Hi Koekie, great to see another of these being made. The 3D printed spool is a terrific idea, I think I'll do the same! Curious why you added the extra 1k resistor to the transistor base leg? Just for the benefit of the arduino's output to limit current when it's firing?

Hi Sad, I'm sure both will work OK, but I suggest #1. Just watch out for water - not sure if that switch is waterproof? Might be worthwhile to paint over it with some liquid electrical tape?

Actually, just looking at your image (and thanks Stratosa for pointing this out): does the Scott Patron use a rim magnet?? I can't find any images of one with it fitted...

A few things to check; Is your magnet rated as 12v or 5v? If 12v, the 5v output will be in sufficient Can you detect the magnet engerising at all? Use the tip of screwdriver or a paper clip over top of the magnet as your spin the wheel - you should feel it tug on/off As Stratosa suggested, get...

That's right - the USB power alone isn't enough to run the electromagnet. You need to supply external power, from the bike battery for example, through either the Vin (direct from bike) or 5v (through 5v stepdown regulator) pads.

Ha just had a look over Eplus' offering for the rim magnet unlocker. Funny, no correct display on the Kiox, no app integration and no ability to turn on/off remotely... sounds very familiar! I wonder if it's just a megabobra that costs 509euro!!

Hi Sam, I tried the same thing originally, magnet on the chain ring, and confirm that it worked for me too. BUT! I was very nervous running it, simply because I figured it would be so easy for the motor to detect that wheel RPM always matches the cadence. Of course not sure if that would...

Unfortunately not. The LPP is different to the lighting ports. So the LPP is powered at all times when the bike is on. You can't really afford to turn off the arduino once in place anyway, as then you would be receiving no speed reading at all. The easiest way I've found to disable mine when...

    Derestricting bosch smart system

You're understanding correctly, yes. The untested part is interfacing the arduino direct to the motor through the speed sensor port. This is where you need to check the resistance of the original speed sensor to confirm if it's just a simple reed switch. If it is, then yes I think it will be OK...

Hi Tony, I introduced the multiplier at a low speed because I want as little time as possible spent in the original un-multiplied state. One of my primary aims was to maintain usability of all the ride stats, odometer, trip meter, max/average speed etc, simply using the multiplier to scale those...
