If anyones going up in tyre size for mud then Good luck, you want to go down size so the tyre cuts in, you don't want the tyre floating and squirming on the surface.
I'm not certain but you'll probably find the calipers are the same as you can't really do a lot other than increase the amount of pistons. The difference will be in the lever, where you'll have more adjustment ie, lever throw(handy), bearings instead of bushings(you won't notice) and pad...
In 45 years of cycling the best advice I ever got was to use the cheapest chain and change them on a regular basis, you won't notice the extra 3.5grams and you can't see the bling when your riding, plus the rest of your drivetrain(the expensive stuff) will last 4 times longer!
I have the online on my SL and the DB air on my trail bike, far better than fox but they are not easy to set up. It takes time and repeated runs, a shockwizz will help no-end.
I think you'll find that you have to buy the rib cage and the swat tool and mount as separate items, at least thats how it appears on the conceptstore website. You should be able to get it online as easy as.
There is a small grub screw next to the exit hole, this holds the liner in place, this has obviously worked loose and let the liner creep through the chainstay whilst riding. If your changing cables or pipes normally this means there is no need to fart about joining old and new together as its...
Have recently fitted a DBAir on my SL and noticed that when I took the shock off and tried to move the yoke in an up and down direction it wouldnt move very easily! So I thought OK bearings must be seized, I'll have em out and replace but lo and behold when I took the yoke off the bearings run...
Yes custom tune is worth it, if your at the top of the weight range like i am you'll be right on the limits of the damping. I get mine done at the First service when I know how it rides.
Unlikely as that would just make it the same as a clockwork bike! I would suspect a freehub issue, symptoms exactly the same ask your LBS to let you borrow a wheel for a ride or two and see if that cures it. Just cos its electric doesn't mean it can't be a clockwork issue??
Just watched the video and that is definitely the shifting ramp picking up the chain then dropping it. Could be just a quarter turn of shifter adjustment may sort it and if it sorted itself it could well have just been cable end cap not in tight enough or something else simple like that. 12...
Make sure discs are nice and clean(use White rag and isopropyl alcohol till rag comes away clean) then find a nice hill to ride down. Roll down at a Good speed and apply brakes do this until you feel the brake bite really well. This will deposit particles from the pads into the surface of the...
As above, try a full bleed First you may have boiled the fluid too. As Gary said most poor performing brakes are down to bad setup and no proper bedding in.
