Regardless of sizes, I’m a big fan of Vittoria e-Mazza tires. Saved my arse a couple of times biting the trail and keeping me upright and in control.

Hi, Donald.o!! Welcome. I’ve done some mtn biking in Croatia. You have a beautiful country with beautiful, friendly people. I cannot wait to get back there for another adventure.
This photo is atop Ucka Mountain.
So true! The old bridge, still in operation, is in the background next to this new, dummy-proof bridge. Sections of that old bridge were shin-snappers. One misstep and your leg went clear through between the rail ties and you snap your shin in half.
I've been mountain biking for 34 years and recently rode some favorite trails in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, attempting a photo-recreate with this pic. I couldn't remember how I was posed with my Scott mtb in the original photo 34 years earlier.
Here are screw specifications for anyone else looking for Giro ratchet buckle hardware:
M4 x 0.7 x 6 mm long flathead screw.
Apparently, Giro only installs (1) screw in each shoe's buckle assembly even though there are two threaded holes under each buckle, and the buckle itself has a keyhole...
Yeah, trying to match at hardware will be a last-resort plan. If I'm lucky, I'll find a longer-than-needed screw with correct thread count and diameters and cut it to length. Thanks for the suggestion.
Cheers
Thanks! I found those replacement sets here in the US but everyone is out of stock. Here, it's discontinued. I spoke with Giro and they confirmed they no longer supply the parts I need, but said they'd email me with screw specs if they can track it down. Fingers crossed. I can take the...
Anyone know the screw specifications for the GIRO N-1 ratcheting buckles? I lost a screw from my GIRO Privateer R, cannot find replacement parts, and hoping to find screw size to source that way.
Advanced thanks for the read.
Cheers!
I'm in the US and I just purchased directly from Vittoria (2) of the e-Mazza tires -- 29 x 2.6. They have limited inventory now and can be ordered direct from Vittoria's web page.
Others here also noticed the typo in the spec table on Vittoria's web page where all (4) tire size options are...
I know this will sound counterintuitive, but over-padded saddles, even when wearing the best shorts with chamois, can cause greater discomfort. Your contact patch is too big sitting on an overly soft saddle and that's compounded by wearing chamois shorts. It's best to wear quality chamois...
