A very wet and slippery Llandegla. Makes the black trails more fun! Chain guide works a treat, no lost chains!

I found out that it was the Fidlock but because one of the screws that mount it to the frame came loose hence why it made the rattle. Threadlocked and now silent!

I agree … I feel like it’s the black sheep of the family. But boy is it an amazing tool.

I managed to install a solution for the chain guide. Flipped the bracket around and pointed the guide downwards. The chain won’t come off again now!

Nope it’s the Fidlock bottle system. It’s amazing in terms of functionality but noise AF!

Had an awesome day out at Llandegla again today. I increased compression and rebound in the fork which makes it feel more balanced in the air. Quite a few PBs made on Strava too. Only issue was the chain came off the chainring on compression from a large jump. So I need to review a solution...

I am considering getting Fox 40s in the future but love the practicality of the single crown at the moment. I’ve got a few other rotors in 220 form (E.g Sram HS2’s etc) so if these don’t continue to perform then I can swap out. They certainly have a bad rep for sure.

Nice. I can report that I’ve had no loss of air pressure since I installed the rear wheel with gorilla tape. Front wheel is losing normal amount of pressure between shreds.
