I would shop around and try a lot before pulling the trigger. Geometry is important for you will be on the bike quite a lot, more than usual because e-mtb is just more fun! I would buy a reputable brand from Local store for extended support...
I don't know much about Cannondale bikes but isn't that a hardtail (Trail Neo 4) ?
I would definitely go Full Suspension on a Full Power e-mtb... My 2 cents

Reliability is getting better every year and that goes for all manufacturers. I would still go through a Local Bike Shop for a new e-mtb though. Plenty of choices, shopping is part of the fun... Enjoy! 😎
I just revisited my data on battery usage in cold weather vs normal summer days.
I’ve used 30% more battery on average, up to 40% if I stayed outside for a longer period of time. (cold days meaning +/- 3℃) 🤓

I think measuring & gathering data is a good idea particularly as one gets close to the “senior rider group”… I use Apple Watch for measuring HR, keeping it to zone 3 most of the time, zones 4-5 hard rides being the exception. I also compute battery usage in Wh/km...
