    GIANT TRANCE X E+ 2 2022 - potential owner

As a previous owner here is my 2 cents... Though I liked this bike very much, I changed it for a Reign E+ for the geometry. The Trance X E+ has a long Chainstay and low Stack (comparatively) making it a great climber, good allround trail and okay descender. I would test ride it, if it feels...

    Which would you choose?

Crafty, one size smaller... Motor, battery, weight.

    750wh Syncdrive Pro Range?

I can tell it didn't change anything for the 625Wh... 97% health before and still 97% after the update.

Brose converstion to bosch motor and battery (just mainboard)

Woah... Unless you are an electronics engineer my two cents would be "good luck with that"... Chances of this working are close to 0% in my view. 🙁

    Reign E+ 2022

Shimano update only applies to EP801 & needs to be done by a dealer. Motor tech is a leapfrog race. I think the Giant RideControl app is good enough to do Over The Air firmware updates but seriously lacks user features like running without being logged in, include a picture of my bike, plan...

    New bike help

The likelihood of that happening is about 0.1% I would shop around and try a lot before pulling the trigger. Geometry is important for you will be on the bike quite a lot, more than usual because e-mtb is just more fun! I would buy a reputable brand from Local store for extended support...

    Opinion Request

I don't know much about Cannondale bikes but isn't that a hardtail (Trail Neo 4) ? I would definitely go Full Suspension on a Full Power e-mtb... My 2 cents

Moving from pedal power to e-bike

Welcome to the forum! Reliability is getting better every year and that goes for all manufacturers. I would still go through a Local Bike Shop for a new e-mtb though. Plenty of choices, shopping is part of the fun... Enjoy! 😎

    Giant Regin 800w battery problem?

Seems like a battery issue. Have you done a "bike check" in the app? Also, the LBS should be able to do a more in depth system check?

Everything about the 2022/2023 Giant Reign E+

Since I have to take it easy for a while (operation), I must admit that my Reign E+2 works beautifully to ride to the Pub 😁

Everything about the 2022/2023 Giant Reign E+

Reign E+ has a high stack, if you feel it low then don't ever try the Trance... 😊

    750wh Syncdrive Pro Range?

Can't say, for some reason, I don't have much rides in these temperatures?? The little I have show no difference. 😐

    750wh Syncdrive Pro Range?

I just revisited my data on battery usage in cold weather vs normal summer days. I’ve used 30% more battery on average, up to 40% if I stayed outside for a longer period of time. (cold days meaning +/- 3℃) 🤓

    The EBike Riding Data Thread

Great idea for a thread 👍 I think measuring & gathering data is a good idea particularly as one gets close to the “senior rider group”… I use Apple Watch for measuring HR, keeping it to zone 3 most of the time, zones 4-5 hard rides being the exception. I also compute battery usage in Wh/km...
