Carbon is very good for wheels and bars... but I dont think it is good for frame. Because of none elasticity. You need to check your frame after any impact or hits. Frame has too much folds and joints for checking. I dont do XC where the weight is on the first place. With ebike I prefer...
I upgraded carbon rims ( bontrager line pro 40) because of my weight, but bars? I like the elasticity of alu bars if crashed. Carbon hasnt any elasticity, it is stronger than alu (even titan) but when is damaged in structure, it hasnt any deformation and crash is undetermined.
I thought the overall strength of the new drive, so it is a factor. (See an amount of metal in comparsion with a disc without any aluminium or cutting in the middle)
