Any error code ? if not, before going to dealer, I would take off all cable connections from handlebar, clean it all, also lower the motor, open the casing, do some cleaning there too, unplug the cable and clean.
there could be some debris stuck between motor and mounting or that area, or some...
I heard shimano USA is pretty good in responding, just google the support info.

Try super glue it, maybe using Sugru Moldable Glue: https://amzn.to/2GweC6H
super strong glue, I've never tried it myself, saw some youtube video about this.
this guy using it :
So far my E7000 has been great, I climbed on trail mode for 45 min non stop, the power delivery seems to be consistent, it was on a road, and I passed all the roadies. never tried it on technical trail climb over 30 min.
Basically I try to spin more than mashing, putting easier torque on the...
what happened to you old motor? how many miles? replacing E8000 with another E8000? just curious.
Also curious if the E8000 motor made in Japan? my E7000 is made in Indonesia.
I can see emtb has been getting more and more acceptance in general, and also here in Southern California area. Except Orange county, but the enforcement only on 2 trail area that I know. others were not so enforced. Some ebikers get warning only, and rangers were aware that regulations may soon...

your levo probably already has debonair shaft in the fork.
I am no suspension expert either, but been...
So you're pretty local to me.
my local trail are Bonelli park and Marshall, no problem with ebike there (LA county).
for most part emtb is OK in a lot of places, except Orange county park, no Aliso, no Whitting. but recently an ebiker got a warning riding at Santiago oaks, so becareful there...
" I lubricate my chain every ride and degrease every third ride."
Degrease may not be a good idea. just clean and lube.
Also riding style, if you spin more as oppose to grind, spinning is easier on the chain tension - less chain wear.
and get SLX or XT chain, supposedly heavier than XTR (less...
I have not touched mine for almost a month. so I guess tonight I will ride my acoustic mtb, since I have promised my non ebiker buddy to bring my evil following.
back to emtb tomorrow.
I need to try that , 2 laps.
the 6 mile fire road from trailhead in Brea side was boring for me. now with an ebike, I would like to ride 35+ miles there, go all the way south towards 91 frwy.
by the way my local trail is Bonelli park, you can ride at night after work. I think CHSP has...
