I have some experience with Shimano E7000 vs Bosch gen 3. Shimano trail mode on medium vs Bosch gen 3 emtb mode, Shimano is stronger in my opinion, not much, but noticeable. Both are good, both feel natural, very well balance.
Next, I should try Shimano Boost vs Bosch turbo. I think Bosch will...
in addition to lock , or ground anchor in the garage, you can also add small wifi camera facing your bike, and watch it live on your phone when you're in the office. not really preventing thief to steal the bike, but at least you get the footage.. :)
you're crazy!! get YT decoy... j/k
I have their older version which is motobecane E27plus, they keep changing the name and specs. back then in January, it came with 27plus tires, and E7000 motor, it was $2500, same exact frame.
the new one from your link comes with E6100 motor, 29er wheel, and...
Just curious how many of you were ebike haters before.
Last year I never thought about ebike, but I never hate it, just rarely saw it in my local trail. Then an LBS had a demo days with top brand like Ibis, Santa Cruz, Pivot, Cannondale, etc. Cannondale showed up with some ebikes, so I tried...
I notice on my E7000 motor, as Zero pointed out, when doing hard pedaling with higher gear, the power somehow could not keep up, but if I was spinning more using lower gear, it gives me consistent power.
Sometimes when I want to jump a gap with very short run way, I have to do hard pedaling...
Voodoo Zobop is just like dechlaton stilus with external battery and shimano motor. I have the US version which is motobecane Hal-e with Shimano E7000 motor. no problem so far, been almost 1500 miles since mid January. Size up if you're in between size. frame is on the small side. I ride medium...
I bought my bike online. not radon. I work on my bike my self, rarely go to bike shop. if you're pretty mechanically good, buying online is fine. for motor issue, you can always email the online store or go straight to motor manufacture for warranty. you have proof of purchase anyway.
good luck.
Yeah I like 29er, my previous bike was evil the following 29er. the ebike I bought came with 27.5 plus x2.8 tires, I rode it like 4 times, did not really like it, then I put my 29er wheel on the bike, clearance still good. I enjoyed mine so much, I have put in 1300 miles since mid January.
Glad...
I rode there few times, saw few ebikes as well. however, a friend of mine got a warning ticket there few months ago. but generally, it is safe to ride your ebike there, just avoid being too close to Irvine regional park.
Also rode Aliso, passing some ranges, they did not say anything about my...
Thank you.
Mine is motobecane (for US market), similar to stilus but with external battery, it is 49.5 lbs or 22.5 kg with pedal and coil shock, 29er wheels. yes 29er fit well in the frame.
makes sense, the internal battery requires beefier frame to hold the battery. when I bought mine, the...
get RRP guard or mudhugger or mucky nutz front long fender, and put in the back. it works on mine.
Mucky nutz long mudguard, can be easily put in the back with some modification.
