You have to know that most of us here are LEVO "veterans". We´ve all ridden the clumsy FF LEVO. In my case case i had 4 of them from the beginning, the 2020 model with the 700Wh battery was the worst to maneuver. We switched over to the SL because it´s that LIGHT and NIMBLE, it amost feels like...
Removing the cranks is much easier on the SL than the ff Levo.. You don´t need special tools. Even the spider is easy to remove though its not necessary when you change the crank arms.
I have exactly the same firmware version for the motor.
My last update included a "Display update", so lets compare the display firmware and battery firmware too..
I did not use an extender yet. All i can say is that there is a "Display update" available IF your dealer makes a motor update but i did not find out what its exactly for.
My motor is exchanged now and sound & feels like it should. What is the best way to describe it? It feels super compact and "tight" again. You could hear from "shaking" of the old, loose motor that the entire content had already been "run in well" ,not everything was as tight as it was at the...
Hmmm, i guess a lot of people are waiting for the 2021 LEVO, it should be a redesigned model with a (usually) higher price. Tell your wife she (and you too if you have to pay it ;-)) should think about that too.:giggle:
New motor came yesterday. Took all in all two weeks, even Specialized is a little bit slower during Corona.;-)

In my opinion the Mahle sounds more "harmonic" than the Brose S Mag. It had some kind of a "scratching" sound, especially in high cadences.
