Never weighed it but I would guess 15-16kg based on the fact that the pro model is quoted at 14 something. Feels pretty much like a regular XC hardtail when riding...you don't notice it feeling heavy that's for sure.
Very quiet, compared to my previous shimano one. I would say it feels natural to the point that, in the lowst setting you actually wonder if it is on, until you turn it off. There is not a huge differece between the lowest and middle settings but if you want an e-bike that feels like a normal...
I coudn't agree more (let's face it I already have one! (Raven2)) I am really tempted to jump on the first Fazua powered full suss to be available which will probably be the Bulls but I am trying to wait gfor the right bike as well as the right motor. If Whyte do a Fazua mtb as rumored that may...
My guess is they did not get access to many motors. I get the impression fazsua is a tiny company and they have proved very popular on e-road bikes. I have one on my raven. Wonder if I send it to them they would put it into an e-zesty frame for me ;)
Loving the raven, using it more than the Powerplay as it just suits the local terrain (South Downs): stupidly fast around here. tempted to put a 120mm fork on it and a dropper though. I would be all over the eZesty if it were not for the fact they are completely sold out of medium and large for...
Just a note on the raven... it is fantastic but not a "beginner bike" sorry don't know your wife's skill level. It is very race oriented meaning skinny tyres and steep angles. So not much grip and twitchy compared to a more trail oriented bike. If she decides to get more adventurous it may not...
Hi Interpaul,
I will be putting a fairly detailed post up soon but I love it. You need to be fit though, this is not an e-bike for the unfit to get into shape. It will help obviously but the small battery and the subtle assist mean you will need to put in a good deal of effort yourself. If you...
The Scott has been replaced with a Rock Mountain Powerplay, mainly because I wanted something that felt more like a nimble trail bike. I also have a Focus raven2 hardtail with the fazua motor. My goal is definitely to get an e-bike that feels as close to a non e-bike as possible whist giving...
I have a 710 for sale at the moment. Nice bike that will plow though anything like a monster truck. Very forgiving and easy to ride up and downhill.
Oh and welcome by the way, hope you enjoy the bike!
