Canyon Spectral On, purchased used. Probably has about 1200km on it before resale by Canyon. Is that clicking noise the BB, the motor, cranks, or cable housing?
We just picked up a Focus Thron EQP and we're planning to hook a Thule Chariot up to it. Does anyone know what the dimensions are of the rear axle? We need to swap out the axle it comes with for something like this...
So I've been trying to find an affordable 0mm stem, but they don't seem to exist (so says Google when I search). Aside from swapping out for a smaller frame size, anyone know of a supplier for a ~0mm stem or have better luck with their search algo?
The only thing I've found is this, but for...
I sent back my E8000 switch back to Canyon for exchange, and the E7000 it was supposed to have installed still hasn't shipped. It's been 2 weeks and haven't heard from Canyon.
So I'm wondering if there's any way to turn the motor on with just the battery and e8000 display? I think it starts in...
We will be doing this as well, but we're hoping to keep one set of tires on the bikes, as we aren't focused on very technical or wet terrain, just fireroads and well maintained single track when not commuting. Any recommendations for a tire that works well enough for this combo?
I'm giving the SQLab a try, will let you know how it works out. 12 degree sweep 45mm rise. Will have to shim or pick up a new stem, we'll see if they have shims locally, otherwise its a 6 week wait for junk parts from China.
I'm in a similar situation, would like to raise the bar height and add some sweep for the wrists. I'm trying to find something with 40-50mm rise and 12-16 degrees of sweep but my stem is a 35mm diameter, which seems to rule out many of the rise+sweep bars listed above. Anyone know of a good...
Got it in the mail, installed, and works well. If you need to tow a Thule Chariot child carrier, this is what you need for the Spectral:On 2019:
Syntace 160-172 mm Axle Adapter
• passend für Fahrräder mit dem 12mm Syntace Steckachssystem (148 mm Boost Einbaumaß)
• Mindest- Höchstlänge: 160-172...
Ah, got it, I thought the EN-EW100 had its own cables, that makes more sense now. I'm thinking of ditching the switch entirely, and just leaving it in eco with the unit attached to a cable housing near the bike tube exit port. Funny enough Canyon sent the bike with an E8000 switch, but the sales...
I'm going to try it out (the EN-EW100), after that I'll try to pick up a handlebar for Di2 (for the routing). Eventually I'm actually thinking of swapping out the rear cassette for a IGH.
I'm not seeing a length printed with the EN-EW100's for sale online. There seems to be some price...
I saw that Rob was running his Specialized without a switch (or display), with the bike set to eco full time and 100% assist according to his input (forget the terminology here) and was wondering if such a setup was possible with a Shimano steps E8000? Would be nice to get rid of the display and...
Looks like there a bit more info on a Neuron:On over here:
Thule Chariot
Saying 12mm x 1.5, with a length of 172/178. But it's a little unclear from the postings, or if this is the same for a Spectral:On.
I'm planning to replace the rear axle in order to install a Thule wagon adaptor, and I'm not sure exactly which Thule axle will fit. Anyone know the Spectral:On axle dimensions?
The components are listed as:
Wheel
Alexrims EM30 | Shimano Deore XT
Rim Material: Aluminium
Wheel
Alexrims EM35 |...
I'm building up a bag for solo riding, and am looking for info on what should go in. I told the wife (M.D.) I would add a proper first aid kit, she asked what's a 'proper' kit, and I explained self-applied tourniquet, blood clotting powder, splint, and single use morphine injections. Apparently...
Not an April Fool's joke.
I'd like to get the wife a FS bike, but, as it will be towing a Thule Chariot, she would like a kickstand. We want our cake and to eat it too.
The bike will likely be a Neuron:On 5.0 2019.
My question is, are there any Bike Shop/mechanically oriented folks who can...
