    LETS SEE YOUR RIDE FOOTAGE

That would be good. It's shame that Porridgepot is closed off for most of February (Yes, I know there are ways around that). Perhaps drop me a pm if you want to arrange something? Btw. I'm old and slow, so be warned.

    LETS SEE YOUR RIDE FOOTAGE

I'm not planning to regularly post videos of my rides as I'm not a great rider, I don't do spectacular jumps etc, etc and most of my rides are local to me in southern England... not North Shore, The Alps. However, I thought I'd post my ride from today as it illustrates the type of ride I was...

    Kiox 300 cadence measurements

Just for completeness... I asked the question of Bosch and the tell me zero cadence isn't included in the average cadence results.

    Pic of the Day

I've got to confess that the Boogieman would be my worse nightmare. I find the North Shore type boards really freak me out. But much Kudos for riding them.

I don't know what chest mount you are using but I can recommend the Stuntman Chest Mount. It used to be available through Amazon but not sure if that's still the case. They do a variety of fixing as well. It's a very sturdy mount. Stuntman Chest Mount

    Kiox 300 cadence measurements

I'm just getting used to using the Kiox 300 and was looking at the Cadence stats at the end of my rides. The results look rather lower than my perception of my usual cadence which is usually above 80. Does anyone know how Bosch measure this... do they include zero cadence when you are aren't...

    LETS SEE YOUR RIDE FOOTAGE

Thanks, I appreciate it. Where I live is in the middle of lots of Army training land.... Minley (in the video) Porridgepot (G2), Tunnel Hill, D1 and D2 army test tracks, Ash Ranges, Long Valley. Some are open to the public all of the time - Minley for instance... and others are sometimes...

    LETS SEE YOUR RIDE FOOTAGE

Just getting use to my first e-mtb.... had it a few weeks now and my non-emtb hasn't had an outing since. I thought I'd risk posting one of my rides. Last Sunday our son was racing in the Gorrick Brass Monkeys Round 3 race at Minley (army land). We went to watch and support. I went back today...

    Kiox 300/Flow App/Komoot

Forget this. Fixed it.... my error in not pressing the correct button on the kiox 300 controller. Just did a brief test and it worked with a simple komoot route around local roads. Not sure how useful it will be for demanding off-road routes but at least it's working.

    Kiox 300/Flow App/Komoot

I've tried searching but not found the answer, so apologies if it's staring me in the face. I've recently bought a new Cube Stereo 160 and I've tried to get the Kiox 300 head unit to show the basic lines/arrows route guidance. I've got Komoot, Linked that the the Flow App. If I go into Maps on...

I finally got one - Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC SLX 750

I'm finding them fine but I'm not a fast rider and I don't get massively airbourne.

    Swinley any good?

Yeh, I know what you mean but a bit of protection this year helps keep both me and the bike a bit cleaner and the new style Mudhugger seems pretty good (if not pretty).

I finally got one - Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC SLX 750

Btw, given the current weather I've added mudguards front and back... I took the Crud XL off my old Bossnut and got a Mudhugger MK2 with the front extension bit. I know they are bit divisive with their looks but after having got plastered in mud the other day I wanted a bit of protection for...

    Swinley any good?

I said I might ride over to Swinley today. I wasn't sure with all the frost about but I'm glad I did. I really enjoyed it.... hardly anyone about, not much soggy stuff, and it was riding well. I just did a lap of Blue and Red... it was very helpful to get used to my new (first) e-mtb.

    Swinley any good?

I've got mixed views about it. I ride in from the Camberley/Bagshot direction off of the Maultway North. Apart from a very brief foray on a borrowed e-mtb hardtail I've only really ridden it on my Kona Hei Hei and found it a bit too "pedally" but now I've recently got my Cube e-mtb I think I'll...

I finally got one - Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC SLX 750

As a newcomer to the Cube (and to e-mtbs in general) I can only say that the charging seems really simple either in-bike or with the battery out. When I charge with the battery in the bike (with it in my garage) I can monitor the charging progress from inside the house using the Bosch Flow app...

    Pic of the Day

Other than on the fire roads I haven't come across any walkers on the trails I've been riding. I don't think they would suit the casual dog walker. Actually, it's not somewhere I've ridden much pre e-mtb as a lot of the climbs are beyond me but for the Cube it's really rather good and very...

    Pic of the Day

A few days into my new purchase.... and have been riding over to some of my local trail areas. The one here is a military test track location. Some nice trails but somewhat underused with quite a lot of forest debris... but to contradict myself, some are a bit chewed up by motocross riders...

    Battery cover not attach well

Just for completeness.... i ended up ordering these Trilancer Straps They arrived today and seem to be a perfect fit for my Cube. I just need to test them ASAP. I can think of a few other uses for them as well including helping with additional security in attaching bike to towball bike rack...
