Since my earlier posts I've taken note of the recommendations and have removed and checked this cover a couple of times. Today, after some muddy, sloppy, cruddy, soakingly wet rides I took it off and there was hardly any mess inside it at all. I've started using two of these velcro straps at the...
I'm presuming that as my Cube 160 Stereo has 165 cranks, Cube installed the short crank option. Therefore, if that's correct, my decision to stick with the e-mtb version my upgraded app had already defaulted to was the correct decision? Maybe?
I went over to a muddy and boggy Swinley today with the aim of riding all five of the trails that start on a sort of plateau at the southern end - Red 10, Deerstalker, Babymaker, Berminator and Bikini Line. Unfortunately Deerstalker and Babymaker were closed so I doubled up on some of the others...
I think that's probably correct. But the two versions aren't labelled as to which is for Long or Short (as far as I could see). When I went into that menu one of them was already selected and I left it selected. Whether that was right or wrong I've no idea.
Btw, I'm on a Cube Stereo 160 and...
Just an update on the recording of heart rate data after this lateste upgrade. I raise a tick with Bosch and just had this reply.
"Please be advised that the heartrate monitor connected to the Bosch system is only a monitor. There is no storage of this data and also no statistics unfortunately ".
Thanks a lot @Arminius I haven't actually tried to take the cover off first but after yesterday's boggy ride I thought a clean up in the area would be a good idea. I saw the "plastic nose" and guessed it might be something like that. Tbh, I originally thought there might be some more bolts at...
An absolutely dumb question but... to remove the plate/cover on my Stereo Hybrid 160hpc 750 I just have to undo the two bolts inside the bottom of the battery cover... and is there some sort of lip that slips in a the back of it? It's embarrassing to ask
I tend to agree with you. I've only used Auto for a relatively short ride and found it a bit of a handful on a particular trail which had a steep, debris strewn descent into a boggy, slippery dip and then rose steeply up another narrow, debris strewn climb. I failed twice to get traction as I...
Some more info from EBIKE24 Blog that might be useful. I seem to have found the answer to my question regarding not being able to see post ride heart rate data.
EBIKE24 say " As welcome as this innovation is, the fact that the values are only displayed while you are riding is disappointing...
I had heart rate showing on my Kiox 300 display when riding... all good but when I look at ride analysis I can't see any heart rate data. Did I need to do anything to make sure it was recorded, not just visible when actually riding. Btw, I created a ride screen which had Speed, Cadence and...
I went for a little test ride to see how it worked out. I had Tour+ (but turned down a bit) Auto (for the first time) emtb and Turbo. I tried riding mainly in Auto. It seemed to me to kick in with the power a bit more strongly that emtb and took a bit of getting use to on the trails I rode -...
Thanks @JP-NZ You're right, I think I'll restore Eco but replace Tour+ with Auto so giving me a more battery saving option still. There are places near to home that I ride to using small roads and simple fire roads that don't need any great level of assistance so Eco does me fine on those...
Thanks... so before this update I had .... Eco, Tour+, emtb and Turbo. Would a more balanced set of 4 be...
Eco, Auto, emtb and Turbo?
Btw, with the new release I had 2 emtbs listed. No more detail on whether it was just a duplication or two different emtb profiles. I just left it with the...
Just installed 1.18.6 ..... Kiox 300, Android phone. Install went fine. I've swapped Eco for Auto but I don't really know why but thought I'd play.
I've now got listed in this order Tour+, Auto, eMTB and Turbo... so it seems to be saying that Auto gives more assistance than Tour+ ???
I also...
In my case it wasn't the bracket on the handlebar that came off but just the clip in display. I do use a tether on my Garmin but although, like you I don't have my bracket too tightly attached to the handlebar it wouldn't come off even in the event of a crash. However, I realised today that the...
Went for a boggy wet ride this morning just local to me. Came around a corner I never knew and my inside arm and bars caught on a low hanging bushy branch which unbalanced me and I had to put a foot down and a bit of a slide (but never actually fell off). Carried on for a couple of hundred...
