Hi everyone,
My charger went bang (literally) the other day. I checked the plug fuse and it was fine. So I cracked it open but can't see any other internal fuses so am thinking I need to buy a new one. I almost soiled myself when I saw the price of the 6A Smart Charger replacement then I...
Heard back from the Bosch service guy, both him and the Bosch rep in the south of the UK have been excellent, couldn't ask for better service really.
They are ordering a new motor and hopefully that should resolve it.
Also had error "115000 - unknown error" earlier. Hopefully that's motor...
Although that could work in my favour, mine is rideable, just annoying. So I can hammer mine for a few months then when I get the new shiny one send mine back...
Took mine to Bosch service centre, the error showed and 2 others from the controller. Forced a firmware update and I need to try it now and see if it still happens. Service centre was excellent as was the Bosch rep he called while I was there. Immediate reaction from Bosch was "probably a...
Had another email this afternoon saying to take it either to a Canyon service centre or a Bosch approved place in which case I would have to pay around £70 upfront which they will refund.
I will let you know what happens...
Update: Booked in for diagnostics on Monday at a Bosch service centre
That would be much more convenient if that is the case. My nearest Canyon service centre is 20 miles and a pain to get to, I think my nearest Bosch service centre is about 3 miles and easy to get to.
Canyon haven't got back to me yet, I will see if I can get through on the chat tomorrow.
Went for another ride tonight having squeezed the wheel/valve magnet closer to the rim. Still hesitated twice. From looking around at other forums with this motor and error 513 it sounds like the fix is a new motor. Might just ask them to swap the whole bike out as it did it on the second...
I reported mine to Canyon as well but haven't heard back yet.
I removed and reinserted my battery as well yesterday but to be honest it seems pretty tight anyway so don't think it's that. I went for a ride last night, after 15 mins, at the end of a very steep hill, it cut out 3 times for about...
Am starting to get buyers remorse. Had to regrease the headset as it was squeaky (never heard quite that noise before from a headset!). Then rode today, cut out 10-12 times in the space of an hour most times loss of power for 0.5 seconds then once for 10 seconds. Most of them while climbing but...
Nothing as bad as your videos, last night on my first proper ride I had 2 instances where I was in Turbo mode on a very long steep hill and the power reduced for less than a second then came straight back on. My thought was overheating. I would say yours looks more like a bad connection or...
Thanks, I'm just surprised (and annoyed) that I have to start carrying such a large allen key around all the time now. It's also bl**dy tight! There is a spanner in the bike box as well and I have no idea why they've included that 😬 Something is probably going to fall off. Followed by me!
Ok, another dumb question, I've looked in the manual but it looks different, the web has no videos so I'm a bit stumped. I have the Underdog and went to convert to tubeless however, the rear through axle appears to be a large allen key hole with a 25NM torque? Do I just have to undo that...
I'm 6ft1in, 32-33in inside leg. Got my medium today, first time I sat on it I thought I should have gone large. However just taken it for a short blast and decided medium was perfect. I always have Large bikes, this is the 1st ever medium. Bike is awesome as well
Mine arrived today finally (after sitting in the local UPS depot for 5 days ) and the orange cable ties were in a packet in the box as well and the holes just taped up. I've assembled mine but haven't looked closely for marks, it's really, really dusty though. Will have a proper look...
