Quite normal.....mine look like that after riding farm trails after hedge cutting.......Riding in stubble gave me quite a large cut in the sidewall.....that stuff is sharp ..beware. Tyre plug fixed it but tyre now sports quite a number of them.
Another vote for Stans race ...only one that...
My Year 2017 (purchased April 2018) battery will only charge to 4 bars no matter how long I leave it on charge .....2700 miles mostly ridden in Eco mode. used to charge every ride but now allow battery to get down to 1-2 bars .
Somewhere on here it advised to expect 5% drop per year so say...
Why bother?? They will soon get mucky again!
Got covered in sheep shit this morning..its stinking my garage out ....I’ ll never eat lamb again.....
any detergent and lge scrubbing brush did the trick........will avoid that route for a few weeks until the rains wash it all away.
Keep pedalling...
Persevere with this as I almost gave up until Bike Shop re taped the rims , plugged hole in sidewall, (I have subsequently plugged in the main tread area) Tried several brands of sealant until Stans Race seemed to work best .
It is surprising where leaks occur but good sealant and good rim...
keep it as long as it is reliable , after all most new models are just very minor changes over the previous year so why spend out just for a colour scheme?
BUT I will buy new when the gearbox / belt drive Emtbs arrive that will be the quantum jump I need
LBS decided the cable was too short preventing the "catch" on the bottom of the tube latching properly.. new cable sorted it.
Cant understand how a metal cable can shrink.....maybe something to do with me dropping bike on to the handlebars and damaging the furniture ,,,,,anyway works now.
Must be loads of "hardly used" 2nd hand ones on the market in the winter......some of the new riders have not sampled good English winter riding ....Mud ,Mud , Glorious mud.....and wet and cold and having to clean down bike after every ride.......how we love it.. cant wait ....not!
Couple of us were riding a bridlepath as designated on OS latest map. White van mounted farm employee stopped to advise us that the road we were riding was for horses only and the farmer (who I happen to be acquainted with) did lot like cyclists using it.
All said quite reasonably with no...
True. I wear hearing aids to keep ‘er indoors happy..and can confirm that without them I cannot hear low frequency sounds so yes he was right .

You might check out the co2 from the generating station and factor in the line loss to your base.....unfortunately we are a long way off zero carbon electricity although solar might be doing ok in the UK just now.....BUT I have hardly use my car for short journeys for months, the emtb is much...
Had a small off today which damaged assist controller .. now fixed BUT now the dropper post wont stay up
It stays in place for a few minutes and then sinks gracefully down cant see any obvious kinks in the cable but did find the lever at the base of the seat post reluctant to return to fully...
SORTED
the little plate which I salvaged from the rocks should be glued underneath the large actuating lever .
The plate has magnets on it which actuate the motor settings .
Took me some time to work it out and is now OK ...inside the assist lever housing was quite mucky and should be...
Dropped my Focus on to the Assist switch levers and dislodged a part See pic
Anybody know how to replace this or where I can find a 3 view drawing.......alternatively where I can get a replacement FAST.
seriously smart colour .
At your age you cannot afford too many "offs" especially if they scratch the paint ....doesn't matter about the shins , elbows , ribs, head ...its the bike that matters!!
Have fun its later than you think.
Thats exactly how my batteries are behaving ..Mainframe batt drops 1 bar after 4-5 miles or even less but on the newish TEC battery it has not dropped after 14 miles.....
My bike is 2.5 years old and 2500 miles so guess there will be some degradation. How do other systems compare?
