Agree with Steve ....My Jam is 3 years old, kept in an unheated garage and never had a charging problem although the battery performance is dropping off a bit .
Most rides are bridle path woodland trails etc with a few trail centres thrown in I get about 30 miles on a charge but ride in off...
Not far away in Long Melford ...about 300 ft above the sea but could be fooled into thinking the sea has got nearer.!!!!
If you fancy a very muddy ride out give me a shout .....bet the old railway line is pretty sticky after all the walkers.
Looks as if we might have a local group brewing...
Another Focus Jam fan here .Shimano powered. The light weight small battery was the deciding factor....even still its a boooogger to lift over styles and gates but at my age a clockwork bike would not be much better.
No problems in 3 years and 3000miles only now is the internal battery...
have you checked the connections to the screen and motor ...I had something similar and it was the connections at the motor end ...cleaned the connectors and off we went ....maybe I was lucky.
I did not get on with Stunlocker its not suited to Focus batteries but Etube worked for me ...set more power in trail less in boost .
E tube was a bit of a fiddle for this digital thicko . still cannot find out what state my battery is in.!

Not connected to Torque but they are my LBS and I like to support them.
This bike has been around for a while. looks beautiful.
Snap............. a plastic paint scraper has now been added to my tool kit.......amazing how you can never find a suitable stick when you most need one
Note deliberate mistake .....lying bike down on the derailleur ugh
er
Those Rubber bands are pretty near useless ...all mine have broken so have replaced with adjustable velcro straps or giant propper rubber bands.
Still trying to find the best place to carry my tool kit.
Re trail punctures CO2 cannister usually enough BUT be sure you carry the tubeless puncture...
That looks So good.....Pleased to see someone within sight of my age not charging down totally bonkers but enjoying the ride
No trails like that in Suffolk !!!!
I am Focus biased but whatever bike you choose be sure to get the RIGHT SIZE I am convinced I bought too small for me as always shifting back in the saddle ...
My error was just taking the bike shop advice ...will know next time >>>>>>>.
Revonte, Revonte ,Revonte ......where oh where is the teased system sort of Flappy Paddle system for Emtbs with toothed belt drive
Was supposed to be launched end 20 but now "possibly" mid 2021..... this is why I need one
Suuuuuufuck so a bit far but will keep in mind.
The chain I purchased the bike from is very generalised and does not seem to be too interested......does not have the software to test battery etc, ugh.
as title says ... I would like to get my Jam2 properly checked and serviced by someone who really knows the brand .
MY battery is losing capacity, Stunlocker does not read the non Shimano battery so what do we do??
LBS very helpful but dont know the brand.
Exactly the same for me . How long can I hang on until my new dream bike is available?
Meantime best use to the TEC pack as reserve .
Is this problem just because we have a “small” battery or do all Ebike batts deteriorate at the same rate.
