Sutprise surprise. Dealer tells me they inspected the rims to find the stock tape was very poor so they replaced it with a proper tape and Stans Race. And so far all is well. Touching wood.. bike now wrapped and some shake down rides in progress . Will report

Hey thats my bike in the window I said they were using it as an ad,. Past experience when going tubeless is exactly as yours the so called "tubeless ready" rims arnt ! Dealer assures me they will be fine but I have told him if they let me down he has to replace the rim tape etc on...

Still waiting for mine . Dealer was “tubelessing” it for me .....and it has taken longer than expected .... I did warn them it was not always straight forward. Or maybe they are using it in their window to show it off.

Question. Is there a water ingress problem with Bosch gen4 CX ? Seen a number of forum reports? I do ride in the rain , puddles and huge mud... never jetwash but always wash after muddy rides ..Shimano has been troublefree hope the Bosch will be .

Much to my amazement LBS phoned to advise the bike has arrived ! a month earlier than revised date ... R&M must have found some delivery drivers! Delivery to me next week. No joy on the frame protection so it has to be DIY //// tiresome job but worth it . Pix to follow

what I would really like is a pair of Varifocal like that . most of my "real" glasses hit my helmet no matter how I adjust it I need to see my phone maps AND where I am going helps!! :geek:

My new R&M Delight Mountain. Ordered beginning August was forecast end Sept. now re scheduled end Oct ...no explanation .just hope it arrives before the mud season as that was the whole point of the Gearbox/belt drive set up.... most of it is made in europe so no Taiwan shipping delays .

Thinking ahead to my delayed delivery has anybody found a suitable protective film for the Delight?? Invisiframe do not have one and suggest a fat bike kit but looking at the shape on line i would think there must be similar frame shapes etc on the more popular bikes . Anybody tried...

11weeks from order to expected delivery...... Not a Brexit problem ... simply a manufacturing lead time in the German factory (Taiwanese frame ) Hope they keep to it .

Ha 100,000 miles @ 1000+ miles a year thats 100 years ..... BUT I'm already 0ver 80 so doubt I will break even but will enjoy NOT spending hours cleaning/adjusting the bloody cassette..... I will do my best to get to 180..!!!! just because I'm a tight git.:cautious:
