I converted to SQ labs riser bars which also gave more sweep to help my arthritic wrists....Then added a 30 mm stem , more reach and more rise does the job well ..certainly eases the wrist ache....doesnt help the bum ache though .......still searching for the right saddle !

My Jam battery is deteriorating ..Factory lead time for a replacement is horrendous so wonder if there are businesses refurbing the used ones ? Can I use the TEC pack if the internal battery has been removed for refresh?

Rutland claim to have a tester but said that if the batt is faulty I dont stand a chance of a warranty claim. The only reason I would not buy Focus again is the difficulty getting reliable info on things like this BUT what manufacturer does handle customer questions well?

I am interested to hear about your battery experience as mine is showing the same deterioration...my bike is the same age as yours with 3000 miles it now only charges to 4 bars even with the last minute top up before a ride. I have a TEC pack for the longer rides but am not now confident on...

Very true. After 2800 miles over 2 1/2 years my battery will not charge over 4 bars . Maybe getting on for 100 charge cycles This does not seem very good ....fortunately I have a TEC pack as do not fancy £800 of replacement . Keep pedalling. :)
