1.8inch fork steerer…. Anyway of getting back to 1.5inch ? [Edit - Yes!]

Hi Soakinoak, I’ve found the same issue with the H6164. It doesn’t fit on the bearing properly. I’m informed by plenty it’s the right adapter. So I used a heavy duty clamp and tried to squeeze the beaing on to the race away from the bike between two wood blocks; It definitely doesn’t fit. Can I...

    Fitting new fork Rail 9.8

Afternoon All, Have fit new aftermarket fork to my Rail 9.8. So have used a crown race reducer 1.8" to 1.5". When pre loading bearings by tightening stem bolt, I'm checking for play and there isn't any. So then torque up stem to steerer bolts. When I get on the bike I can feel a slow speed...

    Dpx2 fitment and warranty

Depends on your weight and riding style. I sent mine to TF tuned and set it up for me. Also have a look at the code on the shock. This will tell you the current tune. Example below. Need to check Fox website!

    Dpx2 fitment and warranty

Cheers apac, yes I’ve read this and it doesn’t seem like a lot. But maybe it does result in contact somewhere. Wondered if someone has cycled the shock to check. ??

    Dpx2 fitment and warranty

Cheers, yes that’s why I’m asking. I haven’t physically cycled the shock to see if there is contact using 55 stroke

    Dpx2 fitment and warranty

Hi all, I know this has been discussed already but I can’t see a conclusive answer. Will a Levo 2020 be ok with a 210 x 55 shock? so I know it will fit (dpx2) BUT will there be a clash with the frame when using all the stroke? also, I can’t see any reference to warranty invalidation. one last...

    Upgrade or not to upgrade?

I notice the same compression spiking over rocky terrain. Rear shock feels quite good I think. Need to do something about the forks, need to work out what yet. ??

    Upgrade or not to upgrade?

Haha it’s not over yet. Anything could happen ?? I am very much leaning towards getting my head in to it first though, that might distract me enough to not spend money ??

    Upgrade or not to upgrade?

I think before I do anything I’ll be getting my head in to the setup of what I have first. Certainly doesn’t look to be straightforward. Thanks for the info ??

I think I will definitely be doing that, they’ll need a service soon enough. Encouraging that there is a forum like this willing to help also ??
