Sometimes I could get power to the screen and it would show this. Or it would just flash shimano steps at me.

By any chance right before it started happening did you wash your bike? If so try blowing compressed air into the charging port. I had a similar issue not that long ago, I didn't have the rubber seated properly around the port so a have glued it down. Now I have no problems washing it.

It will arrive in New Zealand next month according to the distributor here. If I want a divorce all I need to do is order one.

My understanding is that the mountain cross range are best suited as an all rounder. Where as the hard cross is an endro better at defending as a result you would steeper head angle for the down hill. That's why it also gets the 180mm shock. I'm still new but I've been trying to work it out...

I like having the bash plate protecting the motor and it gives better cooling.

Also check that the cover for charging port is seated properly. Mine wasn't and I got moisture in it. And it wouldn't start up.

Fixed. It seems the change port cover was unseated a moisture got into the terminals.
