Hi Rod, thanks again for the Reply. I also have 3 or 4 mtb buddies who love a weekend away in the hills, we're spoiled in Scotland with our single track paths and forests. The bike park availability is growing which is also encouraging. I'm 49 and a late starter on the mtb scene (5yrs) I never...
Rod, many thanks for your detailed post, it's much appreciated.
Given that I'm not big on leaving the ground to any extent I don't find myself getting anywhere near stressing that specific area of the frame.
It sounds like you and your buddies have put in a lot of trail time with Forks slightly...
Hi Rod
Thanks again
I will definitely feedback the outcome of using this rotor with my Rise and I'm now prepared with the knowledge of what might happen if the magnet does not line up sufficiently.
Hi Rod
Thanks again for such an detailed response, I appreciate you spending time on this.
This is the rear rotor I have purchased
It does look slightly different to the one you illustrated as the magnet is built into the lockring. I am hoping that it is still in the right position to pass...
Hi Rod
Thanks for the reply, I had read your articles, they are super useful, especially for someone like myself who is just learning to work on bikes bit by bit.
I ended up buying 203mm MT-800 rotors, I was a bit confused about the magnet on the rear, I believe the one I have purchased has...
Hi Folks
I'm looking for a bit of help to upgrade the stock M20 braking system with Shimano parts that will not require new brake lines run.

If I start with the extender plugged in and I take the system down to 30%, is that 30% of 612wh? = 183wh?
If at that point I remove the extender would you expect the remaining battery to still display 30% or will it automatically recalculate approx 50% of main battery = 180wh?
What's everyone's thought on slightly breaching the load capacity on a tow bar bike rack?
I have a Thule Easyfold XT3 carrier which has a load capacity of 60Kg
Our 3 Emtbs have a combined weight of approx 65Kg
Give we cannot lose any weight due to internal batteries would we be pushing things...
Sorry to butt in. I'm just checking Ive bought the right cranks as I've busted my thumb up pretty bad and won't be using the bike for a couple of months. I have a standard M20 size small.
This idea might die by the end of this thread and never materialise :ROFLMAO:
I'm considering buying a not overly expensive 2nd set of wheels to set up with tires to run on roads and otherwise smooth surfaces, leave the nobly big tires for the trails and muddy stuff.
Are there any wheelsets...
Thanks Darren
I'm finding how to videos mentioning "Broadcast Heart rate" is the function you are referring to and does it need manually selected before every ride?
Using a Garmin Edge 530 to navigate and a Fenix 6 watch as a heart monitor at the same time?
Is it possible to follow a route using your Edge 530 with Strava and once complete have ride data that includes heart rate info gathered from your Garmin watch?
