Great for both. Folks always wonder when I say mine spends most of time on trail, but my trail is very technical rocks. No jumps but it puts the suspension to work no doubt and I cant imagine less travel.
My seatpost clamp just won't hold up my seatpost and the spec torque. It never really has but has gotten worse. Has anyone used another clamp or tried using a shim? If you tried either, how'd you make out? Thanks
Need to grease the bottom bracket of my 2020 Hybrid 160TM. Anyone know if this is a pressfit bottom bracket or a screw in? I've never done this before but I have 1500 miles on it and it's long overdue. Thinking I should grease the head too. Never done either. Thanks
This is exactly what I did. Thanks. After ordering a new part and looking at it, I was like yeah why would I need this with a single up front chain ring. It's in the parts drawer.
Pic from Nov. Bike is a 2020 cube 160 TM

axs rear derail x01
xx1 rear cassette and chain

Need to swap out the brakes soon. Put 2K miles on and haven't changed the pads...
Nice! On my 2020 160 TM so far I've swapped to an axs x01 rear derailleur and controller. Also went to an axs dropper post. XX1 chain and cassette. Also to Stan's Baron's MK3 rims with Industry 9 hubs and Pirelli Scorpion S tires, Fooker pedals and a Brooks 17 seat. Love it.
Only current...
Looks awesome. Thinking of doing the same although thinking of putting just a little slim piece of rubber where it mounts thinking that if it just absorbs a little that it would be good. I hate riding mine right now without any coverage.
Are all bosch cx gen 4 skid plates the same or do we actually have to find one from Cube? Just trashed mine tonight and I can't find a single source that has them in stock in the US. There appear to be some generic bosch skid plates at like ModernBike but I don't know if they'll fit.
Someone...
Only place I know you can get them in the USA is Fly Ride and their prices are online. Careful though, mine came without a chain and their sales team is full of bs. Their service team is helpful though if you need them.
Getting a new wheelset and the rims will be Stan's Baron MK3. Was thinking of going wider tire like maybe a 2.8. If you went wider than the stock 2.6, did you have any issues?
