I have installed all the provided connectors except the throttle. However, there is no connector for the purple socket on the motor. Is this correct or have I lost one connector?
Yes, regardless of what you have on the front, the rear suspension fits a 210 x 55 mm rear shock which would provide you with an effective rear travel of 150mm.
What is the size of the chainring that it comes with as standard? I also plan to get a bigger front chainring, what is the max that would fit? Do all standard aftermarket chainrings fit?
Yes, the hole is too small to fit the charging port as it comes out of the box. I had the same question as you when I first tried to install the charging port. You need to remove the plastic surround (photo below) and fit only the port into the frame.
Your frame finishing looks really good. Mine wasn't and I was compelled to paint it after realisation that vinyl wrapping isn't so easy...
Ended up wrapping only the bottom part to mask the poor fit of the battery cover...:sneaky:
Great work! Congratulations!
I tried wrapping the frame on a small section and immediately realised it was harder to do than spray painting. I ended up spray painting it and I now have alot of leftover polished steel vinyl wrap :S
Hi all, i just wanted to ask if you guys bought the rear shock bushings from offsetbushings.com or just bought the standard bushings from Rockshox etc...?
That is true but the frame does seem to have a matt black finish so the resin and fibres are not exposed to direct sunlight which would cause degradation in the resin and fibre. My only concern is the quality of the finish. My lazy compromise is to use vinyl wrap on parts of the frame. We'll see...
My thoughts exactly. The finish on my frame isn't exactly top notched. However, I'm too lazy to paint so I'm thinking of applying some Vinyl Wrap instead...
Very nice man! I see you left the bike unpainted. I am starting to like these matt black builds we see here.
I would like to know know if the frame itself already has any clear coat or does it not require any clear coat?
