Thinking about a coil and the lack of adjustability makes me pause. that and the fact that the motor is blown up.

Has anyone gone from a stock air shock to a coil then back to air? if so, explain your journey...

I need reading glasses because I'm old-ish. When biking I wear biking glasses but when I need to look at my phone I need readers, very annoying (same for outside dining or other sunglasses uses. So I had the idea of inventing just the reader/lens part of a bifocal...turns out someone else...

ha. my motor blew up at 9 am Sunday...I was going to take it there but there were not open until noon and Mike's Bike's in WC was open at 10, so I took it to Mike's. I'd rather give the business to Encina, they seem more chill.

prolly good advice. the trail that started this thread is very long and very steep so maybe I'm just being a baby.

I've read about this happening to many people now, me too. I was not doing anything crazy at all, wasn't even on a hill...dead flat bike ride. Was peddling, weird noise, then no power. Does anyone have any advice? I assume my local bike shop (Mike's Bikes in CA) will take a million years...
