I had the opposite... It was terrible and skipping constantly for the first 500 kilometers, but now it works perfectly. The only problem is I'm afraid to touch anything now. 😅
Yes and yes.
And yes. 😁
Well, this is interesting... I have a spare chain so I might try it with 120 links. But still, since I'm right on the edge between 118 and 120 links I would expect it to work fine with both.
I still think that might be the case since all other gears work perfectly, and...
The chain is seated properly. It doesn't fit if I try to move it by one link (because then narrow links get on top of wide teeth).
I think my 3rd cog might be defective... It's hard to get a good photo of this, but it looks to me that the offset between these two teeth is just too big. It seems...
Yeah, I’ve taken it on many rides, at least some 300 kilometers so far.
I also went through the entire setup process for a couple of times, triple checked everything, but gear 3 just refuses to cooperate…
Well, I'm also having a lot of problems with gear 3 and I can't get it to work properly.
When all other gears work fine, gear 3 will be very jerky and will constantly jump between gears. Gear 3 is only kinda happy with micro-adjust set to 1, but even then it starts skipping under heavy load on...
The original Levo chainring is supposed to have a 52 mm chainline? And the new SRAM Brose chainring is 55 mm?
Well, if I compare them on a flat surface the difference between them is 6 mm, not 3 mm... :poop:
So, the Brose chainring will probably give a 57-58 mm chainline on the Levo.
I’ve installed the Brose kit on my Turbo Levo (including the direct mount chainring with the incorrect offset) and can’t really get it to work perfectly. Gear 3 is the most problematic one, it keeps jumping to other gears under higher load and I can’t micro-tune it to work well. And gear 9 seems...
And what about Levo Gen 3? It does have UDH, but all webshops explicitly say that the Brose groupset is not compatible with Levo Gen 3?!
For example:

According to a rep from Trek, they stopped pushing this update when they realized there's a problem. So the number of us lucky ones who got the update should be limited.
Yeah, that was also very confusing to me as well until I realized that these are purely Trek's generations and have nothing to do with Bosch's generations. If you check some of the Trek's non-ebikes you'll also see they have the same "Gen X" naming scheme.
But to make things even more...
