    2019 Powerfly FS 7 Plus

Had my Trek Powerfly FS7 Plus since Feb 2019 and did almost 3000 faultless kms here in Cyprus - cannot praise it enough - it has been faultless. The "only" issue that I've had on my Volt-coloured example is some stone chipping on it's lower section around the crank area. I'm 96kg (without camera...

Trek Rail 7....to buy or not to buy?

I have owned the Trek Powerfly FS7 for almost a year and it has been totally faultless, except from some paint chipping. I am pleased to see that the Rail has a different paint finish so maybe this was an issue that Trek identified and fixed. Here in Cyprus we have an excellent Trek dealer who...

    Trek Quality Control

Although I love my Powerfly FS7 and I am very happy with the distributor here in Cyprus, I am very disappointed with the paint-finish on my 2019 example. I look after my bikes (and everything else I own) obsessively, yet there is chipped paint in multiple places and I don't just mean under the...

Let’s see your Trek eMTB pics

I know it's from the OTHER e-mtb channel/group but could not resist sharing my "Super-nice" rating from the guys at EMBN. Trek Powerfly FS7 on Troodos mountain in Cyprus just a month ago when the temperatures on that spot were about 30C lower that they were today!

This is what it's all about - my first "serious" outing on the FS7 - 1105m climb, 63km ride in sun, hail, mud and a puncture thrown in for good measure - all possible on this amazing bike - arrived back home with 2 battery bars remaining.... here is the ride on Strava.. 63.2 km Mountain Bike...

Let’s see your Trek eMTB pics

My 2019 Trek Powerfly FS7 has finally arrived (by ship) in Cyprus - done just 100Km on it in the few days that I've had it but super happy with it - can't wait to put it through its paces..

    Total newbie starting tomorrow

Welcome to the forum and to the "Oldies Club" - I'm 59 and I am expecting my first e-bike (Trek Powerfly FS7 Plus) to arrive in the next 2 weeks here in Cyprus - Just like you, I can't wait!

Let’s see your Trek eMTB pics

Looks stunning. Trek are, apparently, having some production issues (Bosch are not producing their engines fast enough evidently) and I have to wait another THREE MONTHS for my FS7 Plus to arrive here in Cyprus - 1 of the 3 months is taken up in shipping as these things (because of the battery)...

Thanks Dave - I decided on this colour instead of the stelthier all-black :-)

    what bike

My 2019 Trek FS7 Plus cost me about £3800 - priced in euro it was €4300.....

    what bike

I agree the Cube is prettier - shame they chopped the "Cube" logo on the downtube where the battery meets the frame which I cannot understand it - it looks like a brand new car that has had a wing knocked and they resprayed it in a slightly different shade. It's only a sticker for Gods sake. As...

    27.5 vs. 27.5+ - What should I get

Finally made up my mind and went ahead and ordered the Trek FS7 Plus with 27.5 x 2.80 (tubeless) - now the long wait because thanks to Samsung and leaky notebooks we have to wait a whole month for the bike to arrive to Cyprus by ship from USA (Wisconsin)! Thanks everyone for your input

    what bike

Just inside your budget (I am assuming you are talking £4K), I just ordered the Trek FS7 Plus in Volt Green. Worth a look I reckon... I'm based in Cyprus so bikes like the Canyon, Vitrus and Commencal are not available. I love the feel of the Trek and the dealer is very professional and very...

Thanks for the long detailed response - much appreciated especially as you have highlighted some issues (tyre pressure) that I was not aware

    27.5 vs. 27.5+ - What should I get

Thanks all for your replies - all the comments are taken on-board - great to hear "real" experiences rather than just tech-talk. I know it is a silly way of deciding the spec of your next bike (especially one as expensive as an e-bike) but looking at the ENTIRE 2019 Trek Powerfly range only one...

    27.5 vs. 27.5+ - What should I get

I have been riding (Trek) Hard-tail MTBs for years - never experienced a full-suspension bike let alone one with Plus tyres. My local dealer loaned me his personal Trek Fuel EX (which the powerfly FS is based on) regular MTB with 27.5+ and full-suspension. The experience was brilliant, making...
