Hi all, bit of a long gap since my last post I know. It’s now 5 years since I bought my Haibike Full7 LT with a Yamaha motor and it’s been faultless, runs as well now as it did when new. But with more upcoming time on my hands, I fancy a new bike and could do with some advice. I’m posting in the...
Haha, holy thread revival Batman 😂
Yes I’ve been enjoying my bike over the last few years thanks, though nowhere near as much as I’d hoped to due to a health issue and sort of life in general. Sort of forgot about the forum I’m afraid, just never found the time for lots of things. Different...
I've got my 2nd Transporter, a T6 DSG, fits any bike in, drives like a car, won't fall to bits in a couple of years like a Transit or Sprinter, and keeps its value amazingly well at trade in time
I've got a Crud XL along with a Mudhugger for the rear and finally have a day off work tomorrow so will be fitting them, along with a Brand X dropper and a new front inner tube then and hopefully getting out on it. Just my luck that all the mud has probably gone now as we haven't had rain for...
Thanks, yes as I mentioned above I have ordered some new tubes with Presta valves and ditched the other ones. I also have some tubeless Schrader valves but I'll order some Presta ones when I come to convert to tubeless. At the moment I'm just so short of time and was hoping to spend a couple of...
I’ve thought it over and you’re right, I’m not going to do it and have ordered the same tubes with presto valves on instead. Just disappointed I hadn’t realised this before when I ordered the tubes as I was looking forward to having a ride today and it could be a couple of weeks before I get...
Really? I couldn’t see it in the photo as it was so dark, can only see the socket. I have no other end cap and nothing in the box.
Edit: Ah I see the confusion now, there are two types of battery and ours is the downtube type which has the cap built in to the lid, so nothing missing. See...
Another dumb newbie question I'm afraid. I'm not getting much chance to be at home to ride my new bike and the last time I rode it just over a week ago I got a flat. Went to pump it up and came across a presta valve for the first time and no pump I had fitted. Ordered a little adapter off ebay...
New to this and as I’m riding through a lot of mud and loose gravel I’m beginning to see the benefits of mudguards, esp one that can be taken off when I don’t want it. I think Ill order this one , but is there a good performing equivalent for the rear that doesn’t look terrible?
