Do the gloss and matt sections match up well between the invisiframe and your bike? Just got a decoy with a gloss front end but matt around the motor and on the chainstays and seatstays, can’t get an answer out of invisiframe as to how well their kit matches the paint scheme or whether I’d be...
Thanks for that, good to know.
Final question, my decoy is black with a gloss front end and matt rear (see pic), is yours the same and if so, did you get the corresponding gloss front matt rear invisiframe kit and how well does it match the bike?
Just taken delivery of a new decoy with the gloss black finish and was after some input from fellow owners regarding how hard wearing the paint is (how easy it scratches) and whether frame protection is recommended (either a generic kit or fitted invisiframe one)?
Weighing up the pros and cons of the cost of a full bespoke frame protection kit from invisiframe and just wondered what people’s thoughts and experiences are of using the more generic options, such as the ‘covered’ kit from ridewrap or the muc off kits..?
Awaiting delivery of a Decoy 29 size medium and will be looking to replace the stock postman dropper post as it only has a 125mm drop. Can anyone advise what the maximum insert length is?
Question probably best aimed at those that have owned both bikes;
Which is best at what the other is intended for?!
To be more specific, I currently ride a non-e trail/all mountain bike (YT Jeffsy) mostly on local flow trails with limited elevation, along with occasional trips to Swinley trail...
Thanks for all the responses, I do think the levo sl or rise are more suited for 90% of my riding but wanted some feedback from owners of the ksl to confirm [emoji106]
I realise that the levo sl is the trail bike and the Kenevo more enduro, but what is the kenevo sl like on regular trails, does it feel like too much bike?
How difficult was it to replace the rear brake?
Specifically, how easy is it to feed through the new hose - is there internal routing to just feed it through?
That’s really interesting as I too have a Jeffsy (2016) in size M and had seen how similar the geometry is apart from the reach. That being said, I have often thought that the Jeffsy could do with being a bit longer.
In addition, I have the dropper on my Jeffsy as low as it can go and was...
Would really welcome existing owners thoughts/experiences of the sizing of the orbea rise.
I’m 5’9” or 1.75m tall which puts me right at the top end of the scale for a size M and therefore more within the height for a size L. BUT, based on the dimensions/geometry, the size M is more similar to...
After confirmation from owners of 2020 year levo sl’s in size M regarding the length of the dropper, specs say 150mm but a lot of reviews say it’s only 125mm….?
Thanks for the replies. The last couple of posts are particularly useful as I am debating getting a 2021 carbon comp or 2020 expert and was wondering how much of a downgrade the comp wheels were compared to the carbon ones on the expert, or if they were actually the same or similar to those on...
Are the al wheels on the comp carbon and expert carbon (not the previous model with carbon wheels) more or less the same in terms of spec and weight or are there any significant differences?
That’s interesting about the weight as they don’t sound that heavy for an alloy wheel. I was thinking of upgrading to hunt trail wheels at 1800g the pair…
@Rod B
Wow, what an incredibly comprehensive answer, thanks so much for taking the time to post.
I think I will be switching to the deore 6120 callipers in the first instance for ease given that they are relatively inexpensive.
I also plan to switch to galfer 203mm rotors so it’s really...
