Hi all,
My E161 arrived today and was immaculately packed. But picking up the rear, there's an audible clonking that I've traced to the seat stay pivots. Everything is tight, and I'm waiting to hear from Privateer on what to do. I can't really ride it with the play that I can feel. Has anyone...

Description So, I've finally decided to take the plunge and sell my Large 2019 Decoy base with upgraded suspension. Its barely been ridden these last few months due to the crappy...
I'm considering selling my 2019 Decoy Base (mullet). Has anyone else sold at the moment as it seems to be a good time to sell considering the prices second hand bikes are going for?
I was about to post asking about Rimpact - they seem good value and light too. Did you go for Standard or Pro? I like that you can get "Mullet" combinations and 27.5+
My Capra was 445 reach before (L) and I went for a large Decoy - feels very similar but could easily go larger. I'm 5' !0" so if I were you I'd probably go large too if you are used to longer reach bikes.
I've also got the Base model, unfortunately having to send the rear shock to SRAM for warranty replacement after the rebound stopped working only 2 rides in. Also the Yari is taking some meddling to get right. Otherwise it is awesome to ride, but on reflection wish I'd gone a model up due to the...
I did mine in matte and it looks great and covers pretty much all areas. It took ages to do though, so give yourself plenty of time (and water!). It took me about 4-5 hours and I've done 2 other frames before. There are far more pieces for the Decoy though, I think that's why its more expensive.
After inspection, it seems it came with 4 tokens installed. I took out 2, then re-pressurised as per instructions to about 10psi more than I would normally have for my weight. It felt a lot better tbh but didn't ride anything too challenging.
I'm still tempted to get the 2.1 damper, seals and...
Not sure, I've just noticed it more after about 60 miles of riding so far. Seem to feel it kick in at start of pedalling where I didn't notice it so much before.
When my motor kicks in, it's like a "notchy/catchy" sensation, almost feels like a bit of play in a loose crank (they're not). Is this normal? I don't remember feeling it when I first rode it. Ta
After 2 rides my deluxe r shock is like a pogo stick - no rebound damping at all. I've tried re-pressurising as per instructions from user manual with no change.
Is it best to go through YT or direct to SRAM to get this sorted? Ta
