Would be nice to have a comparison between Commencal SX - Kenevo .
Looks of the commencal are killer. I have a meta race 27, bought an extra battery, it's amazing, doing days of 3000m up.
Shimano motor is good, but not as good as brose. But more reliable (they say). Well compared to my Levo...
Propain E Kano looks nice...6200€ gets you full fox factory and sram axs ? but Shimano motor is getting dated.
Rotwild range...Brose is the best motor in the business,I think...smooth, not noisy, powerful. But they are pricy...
If YT or commencal would run a Brose motor...I’m buying tomorrow...
I threw my speedbox in the garbage bin...i kept having error codes (going up real steep climbs, also blasting down full tilt)...got so frustrated, i got rid of it...think it's a bad piece of kit.
Now i ride restricted and it doesn't bother me. And it rides like clockwork and longer
It’s the latest version. 2.6 with blue stripe. I remember having the previous version that came on a new bike and it also punctured a lot. But my main issue with them is the weak sidewalls. Feedback is very vague and it feels like it’s going of the rim.
I do ride very rough trails and maybe...
I've been running the new ebike tyres from Michelin , E-Wild front&rear.
Coming from the original schwalbe tyres (magic mary / hans dampf), these are much much better. Magic mary is ok , but that hans dampf is horrible , sidewalls very weak, had a puncture almost every ride.
The michelin is...
No problems what so ever. Certainly compared to my first gen Levo.
Customer service is great too
Can't go wrong here, great value and loads of fun
Only thing i would change are tyres...schwalbe is too weak. Go for for the new Michelin ebike specific tyre E-Wild 2,6
Had a couple of runs on it yesterday.
Yes, it really feels like a normal enduro bike and yes it's completely silent ( can compare with first gen levo and shimano and rocky mountain)
Would i want one? If i only had one bike....yes probably , but i also own a normal enduro bike and i like to...
29/27,5 mix , well it certainly works. Headangle is about 65°.
It makes the bike more stable , still it doesn't lose its handling in the tight stuff.
Climbing was also good, maybe on the steeper parts I needed to move forward on the saddle, but not much.
Next I'm going to try narrower tyres in...
Swapped out my 29er fork of my normal enduro bike. Could anyone say how I could measure HA and reach. What would I feel if it’s totally wrong (geo)
It looks okay, I think
I’m on the meta race 27,5 and I love it. Still...i would like to give a 29 fork upfront a try. Does anyone know which one would fit and not mess up the geo to much.
Ideally something with 160mm travel and head angle around 65,5
All tips are welcome or how to measure it myself...
I wanted the extra travel of the 27. I just think a 29 wheel up front will make it even more capable. Little slacker and more rollover.
And probably less adapting time when switching between my bikes
Have my 2019 meta power race for a month now...very pleased with it. Came from a Levo. Much more bang for your bucks
Only thing negative is that you cannot fit a 29 wheel. So I’m going to take out my fox 36 29er fork from my normal enduro bike and give it a try how it feels with 29 up front and...
Oh man, you’re making me doubt big time.
So in your opinion, the meta power 29 is gonna be much closer to my YT Capra cf pro 29, feeling wise. And 140mm won’t be a problem to charge hard?
I just was thinking that a the 27 would be more playful and nimble (Ebikes is still heavy), never ridden a...
