Don’t use dhl, you’ll be fine.
I had to pay import fees (~$200) and fill out DOT forms with dhl, so did other guys. Yet with standard shipping you just get the box and that’s it. Someone else used both and had same experience with dhl and just got it with standard one with ho hassle or fees...

I usually start at 5oaks because I can enter it right from neighborhood, and ride after 5pm due to reasons ;-)
Feel free to add/ping. I’m yet to see a single Pole really, would be awesome to compare Poles one day lol.
My ecranks are 160mm, 155 were not available at the time I think. Strangely they feel fine despite the fact I usually ride 180mm.
Raw ecranks are perfect for raw Voima indeed. Same aluminum alloy as the frame btw.
Also don’t forget that Voima has pretty high bb, so you don’t need shortest...
50 mm stem, 75mm rise bars, 10mm rise stem, 30mm under stem on K4. I’m 6’5”ish longer torso/arms , 36” inseam.
Do that mind seat angle on last one lol, it’s aenomaly switchgrade in climbing position, forgot to set to neutral before snapping pic.
I also ride analog Pole machine with...
Effective adjustment range for speed is like 5% of manufacturer set default.
You CAN change more than 5% but that wouldn’t affect actual speed, just displayed speed. Top speed where assist cuts off is still calculated via factory value (maybe +-5%, idk).
Not sure if even 5% affects actual speed...
I like how k1/2 almost forms a solid line from headtube to rear axle. Probably even straighter under sag. K3/4 has a noticeable bump.
I wonder how K0 looks like. Just curious how could they fit everything into such a small bike.
There’s a 3rd party 3d printed chainguide: POLE VOIMA chainguide - VisionVelo
Fenders are nice too, recommended even if you ride dry only. Keeps shock and bearings clean too.
Didn’t have any cover and it does collect dust (especially our local flour like dust).
I also was thinking plugging it with some rubber thingie.
I generally wipe bikes after every ride and single blow from dust can get rids of anything that got into keyhole.
Sprindex is not progressive, it’s adjustable within stated range. Basically eliminates 1 of 2 coil downsides (second being weight) - adjustability. It’s not the same as preload, it does change spring rate.

That calculation confirms my conclusion that I need ~550, but I decided to just ride more and slim into 500 :) still shedding pandemic weight.
I wanted to try sprindex, with 510-570 range, but not planning on staying at this weight for long. Next sprindex is 450-490, which is a bit too low for...
I’m 235lbs, very close. 600 feels very good, but only 25% sag and never even close to using full travel even after (small) drops/steps. With it bike feels close to an air shock, springy and poppy.
500 gives 33% sag, but feels just numb, like rear is not there at all. But no bottom outs yet.
Why slamming stem so much?
I’m similar height as you and have 30mm under stem and 60mm rise bars, and 10mm rise stem. It’s just feels so much better seated, nice going down too. Basically matching saddle height with grips.
Also, which spring rate you ended up getting?
Standard PM+20 should work unless it has weird shape/clearance issues.
I had sram and hope adapters work just fine on 200mm frame mount with 220 rotor, not magura though.
If you really need to spin out 10t unassisted or have a derestricted bike then yeah, might be a bummer. Doesn’t make a difference at all if you only ride in assisted speed ranges. US speed limit is pretty adequate I find personally.
A lot of bikes take up to 38t front though, so possible to...
No, front chainring can be 10/11/12 and chain can be anything 10/11.
I run sram steel chainring but my chain is Linkglide indeed.
I jut got the following (11speed):
M8130 shifter and derailleur
CS-LG700-11 cassette
CN-LG500 chain.
You can find groups here: LINKGLIDE | SHIMANO BIKE-US
