Seems unusual the callipers are not compatible with larger rotors. If you are happy with the feel, bigger rotors and adapters would be the sensible first step, and go from there.

Have you been in touch with Invisiframe? I messaged them last week about a kit. They needed access to a bike for a couple of days to make one up and asked if I was willing to let them have mine. If I lived nearer to them I’d have gone for it.

Yeah I was told 10 working days last time and it ended up being 15. Was all sorted without fuss under warranty though so worth it in the end.

I run an Onyx rear hub on my Evil. It’s class, instant engagement. A bit heavier than a regular hub coz of the sprag clutch. Industry nine do one as well. There is some sort of tie in between the two not sure if it is licensing or part of the manufacture.

Think they all do it. I put it down to the sprag clutch at the motor chainring being instant engagement, running into the rear wheel hub which may rotate a few degrees before engaging, resulting in the little ‘thump’.
