Seems unusual the callipers are not compatible with larger rotors.
If you are happy with the feel, bigger rotors and adapters would be the sensible first step, and go from there.
Crusher looks a nice bike. Been out for quite a while now though and the release of the new Bosch motor will probably mean new Mondrakers. There looked to be an unmarked Mondraker at the Bosch motor release press day.
@Pipo have a question, can I temporarily attach an e8000 display to an e7000 display equipped bike to modify the settings then swap back to the e7000 display and the adjustments remain in place?
So have you just covered the raised two tone part of the top tube?
I’ve some black vinyl wrap kicking around and some helitape. I’ll put mastic tape on the chain stays as I have a habit of rubbing my heels on them.
Have to say though, my Evil has a proper Invisiframe kit fitted from when I...
Received a shipment notification yesterday for a pro race with June 5th availability.
When I say shipment notification I actually mean a message from the courier saying they had received an electronic request to ship, not on its way yet.....
Have you been in touch with Invisiframe?
I messaged them last week about a kit. They needed access to a bike for a couple of days to make one up and asked if I was willing to let them have mine.
If I lived nearer to them I’d have gone for it.
Had the main battery sorted out a few weeks back without issue and frustratingly dropped it off again today as the TEC pack is now playing up.
Before that I had the best part of two years trouble free ownership.
Yes, yes & yes.
My Jam2 runs down ok through all the bars as expected last bar red, then red flashing and drops to eco only.
Since the inbuilt battery was replaced recently it works fine on the inbuilt battery but the TEC pack runs down ok to 3 bars then drops to one red for a bit then just...
I run an Onyx rear hub on my Evil. It’s class, instant engagement. A bit heavier than a regular hub coz of the sprag clutch.
Industry nine do one as well. There is some sort of tie in between the two not sure if it is licensing or part of the manufacture.
Think they all do it. I put it down to the sprag clutch at the motor chainring being instant engagement, running into the rear wheel hub which may rotate a few degrees before engaging, resulting in the little ‘thump’.
