I went from Cushcore to Nukeproof ARD.
The ARDs slot in & out easily. If needed you could whip one out & throw in a tube to get you home.
Cushcore tough to fit, although it does get easier with practice. Not a hope of popping one out trail side though.
On the trail.....if the Cushcore is...
Cushcore are superb........but......
I’m 115kg & they’ve done a superb job! Not a single puncture of any sort. Love the way they feel, love the sidewall support.
Initial fitting with Maxxis Minnions.....ok.....not easy, but not too bad!
Time came to change tyres........holy mother! ??♂️...
Finally got round to rerouting the brake hose ?
Oh.....& got new wheels & brake discs! Also trying Nukeproof ARD in both wheels.....be interested to see how they compare to Cushcore!? ??
I’d never thought about it.......until now! ??
To be honest.......I’ve been meaning to redo both hoses. The front is too short & needs to be rerouted & the rear is too long!
It might be time to finally sort them both out! ??
Well.....on Wednesday my 6 month old Levo finally suffered most of the faults featured in this thread!
The bike initially wouldn’t turn on. Cleaned sockets etc, to no avail.
Finally it turned on when I closed the battery plug.
Happy days! Was at a bike park doing pedal up......got to the...
Cage fits......
But a bottle in the cage certainly doesn’t!
Sag is at 30%. Shocks rides lovely!
I can’t see you having any problems.....we all need to lose a few kilo’s ?
For my weight the apparent correct spring is 877lbs. I certainly can’t notice anything amiss with the 800lb one. I’m not...
Sorry, only saw this now.
800lb spring, biggest off the shelf spring from Tf Tuned.
210 x 55mm Bomber fits perfectly.
I used the original fittings from the Delux RT.
Delighted with the results! ?
Can I ask what rack that is in the back please?
Decided a van type thing was the way to go. Currently popping front wheels off and securing to home made fork mounts. Like the idea of leaving the wheels on!
Cheers
Front Minion DHF EXO+ TR, Rear Minion DHR II EXO+ TR.
Both tubeless with Cushcore.
I’m 128kgs in cycling gear. Run around 20psi front & back.
The grip is immense, very predictable. My go to tyre!
Lot’s of rocks & roots where I ride, so far.....so good! ;) I’m in Ireland, so wet muddy tracks...
Could anyone shed some light on something for me please!?
I recently upgraded the front fork to a Lyrik.
I gave the old fork to my buddy. He’s noticed that the fork takes a 15mm through axle but appears to cut for a 20mm hub.
Now....I noticed my hubs appeared to have some sort of black...
I may have added a few shiney bits today!
Cushcore in the tyres. I was expecting a nightmare, front went on with no tyre levers, rear just needed a wee bit of persuasion! Less than 30 mins for both! I’m still baffled! :p
Went to Maxxis. I’ve had them before & prefer their predictability over...
