Take the cassette from the hub and you can straighten almost every single cog.
Use a flat surface as a controlling base.

If the Tektro is made in the same way as the cheap Shimano's, stamped out plate of steel, leave them, you don't need the XTR's , the other Ice-Tech disc's from Shimano are also very good.
I had to push hard on the lever, now i know why, the outer cable was much too long, so by pressing the post in the frame, the cable coiled up.
A few weeks ago i replaced all the cable's en hose's by orange Jagwire's, i adjusted the outer cable by pushing down cable with the post to the desired...
Same here, after setting the time again, it was gone by switching the bike off and on again.
Placing the old battery, the original time and date pop ups again...

If your lucky yes, but i know from mine that damaging the cable is easily possible too, or the electrical harness, everything is pushed in a tight fit, especially a fs.

I have an Flyon too, and i think to remove the post you have to loosen the inner cable at the lever.
Put the bike upside down and remove the motor, because the outer cable/ post has to move up.
Pretty easy job, beware by reinstalling the motor for the seal of the...
