its for connecting and disconnecting the Di2 connections. This prevents you from pulling on the wires rather than the plugs when removing and aids in installation too.
What model do you have and can you post pictures of the issue? I have a 2022/23 A30 coil with an DHX2 and have no issues with fitment, size large frame is that matters.
Confirmed its in one of the service manuals...124 links.

Just got work bonus and it was recently my Bday so...Fox Rampage DH Helmet, RM OT Batter pack extender, Dynaplug Air kit, full replacement drivetrain (upgraded to Linkglide 11S).
Average 25 miles per week so roughly 800 so far. I don't know if that's little use, high use or average to be honest, its just what I can manage time wise with job and kids etc.
No in tube guides but also fairly accessible compared to some bikes Ive wrenched on. Best advice is get the park tool routing kit or similar and attach your fish line to the existing cable housing and then pull it through then simply reverse the operation to install new housing.
Well until I read this I would have said all is well but I came here searching for possible root caused of a very similar if not identical issue that recently developed with mine. Roughly 8 months old.
20+ years of racing off-road motorcycles and military I simply don't get phased by wearing helmets or protective gear even in the heat. I'll take August in SoCal over any time of the year in Mogadishu so it really depends on what you are acclimated to.
Somebody asked about demographics so I'll...
Well I've been using 5.10's and flats for the last 3 years and I want a repeatable foot position. Bugs the hell out of me when I remount and drop in and have to shift my foot around. Especially because the shoe and pedal combo doesn't afford much adjustment short of raising foot to reposition...
If the OP is simply talking about fire roads and riding alongside others on folding ebikes they typicaly are not full sus. If I were to consider that route I would choose something like the RM Blizard with fat tires and throw cushcores in them run tubeless at a lower psi. More than enough...
If it helps with strikes I'm anxious to hear your results!
Doe to my frankenfork Foxochi (Z1 CSU Coil with Fox 36 lowers and damper) I am limited to 170 however I removed the shock spacer and run 170 rear vs 165.
I rode a slayer with 190 dual crowns and it was awesome at the bike park however...
My family does alot of camping, like at least once a month sometimes 2-3 times in the summer. We have a 34' trailer and a 2500 Ram so transport isnt a question.
I would suggest you at least match your group to the ability to be able to keep up and then decide from there if you would benefit...
I feel pretty exposed when I dont wear a full face. I only wear a half if I'm casually riding with my kids or at the pump track. Otherwise I wear my full face.
OK so I do have some history with clipless but those were SPD's and 20 years ago. I got back into Mtb in 2019 and as I was more focused on DH I returned to biking on flats.
My reason to try to get back to clipless is I want a repeatable for position and for my feet to be a bit more secure to...
5'10" 175lb rider here with a A30 heavily modified/upgraded. I actually wanted the aluminum over carbon but that's a personal preference.
1) Weight of an emtb is not a huge selling point for me. They are heavy and I just deal with it. With a moto background it still feels light by comparison...
When I called then to figure out why 3 new tires all were wobbly after installing cush core. They said they dont reccomend using levers when installing with CC inserts and if you use levers and damage bead its on you.
I loved CC inserts on my Trek Roscoe with + tires and they mounted just...
