Check your motor spindle for hairline cracks around the hole. The e13 cranks may well have broken your motor. Do this before fitting replacement cranks as you may well need a warranty replacement.
I have a galaxy watch and also a Garmin edge on my rise. The watch consistently shows I have ridden less than the distance on the Garmin. Also the distance on the Garmin appears to be derived from the shimano steps connection, not its own GPS for some reason.
I'm guessing the watch is more...
I started a huge thread in this topic some months back where I dithered between the m20 and h15. I eventually went for the h15 and glad I did as I think the m20 would have been a mistake for my needs. It really all comes down to battery, the extra 50% on the H massively more than makes up for...
In this case its 100% orbeas and e13's fault. There have been no instances I have seen of this happening with Shimano cranks, and shimano only certifies its own cranks as compatible (or I believe one's with an identical design around the axle end).
Admittedly the hole in the axle is totally...
On a different note, my friend has a levo carbon expert 700 battery, and I have a rise h15 540 battery. He weights about 40lbs more than me (I'm 150lbs). We did two rides, a 20 mile, and an 18mile at Llandegla last weekend, he is fitter than me and I kept up and on both days we finished the...
Oh Damn. Were they set up to the "new" recommendations, i.e. with loctite, 14nm, and with the hole the opposite side to the pinch bolts?
I didn't even ride my bike with the e13s, pair of XTs went straight on before I started.
Ohhh. Well I think that may be another problem I've heard about then. If the motor is actually turning off under load? That's a new motor needed I've read on other threads....
I think that when it's flat, the small amount of assist when assist character is low makes up for the bike weight so it feels "like it's working". When the trail starts going up, the amount of assist is so puny it feels like drag. As the motor is whirring it seems like its assisting but it...
I think I fixed the problem for me. Basically it was that for some reason the low levels of assist character in the etube app seem u der powered. When I put assist character for eco around the middle, and trail at around 7, all of a sudden there is noticeable support in all modes and terrain. I...
Love my h15 but it has an annoying creak at the front. I'm finding it hard to track down as it only seems to happen when riding. I know it's not the carbon bar I installed.
Anyone else had this? The headset? The forks? Thanks.
I upgraded my m6100 brakes to 7120, bought them from a German retailer calipers and levers separately. Very reasonable prices, almost half of UK retail. I think it was r2 bike. Slx are identical to xt except for the bit point adjust which you can add with a cheap grub screw. Awesome.
My h15 makes the same whirring sound when under load, but descending with flat pedals is dead silent. Not a clunk or rattle to be heard. I don't know why.
Didn't see these replies but I found out by testing that upping the assist character above the default settings for eco and trail made a massive difference and gave me more of the feel I was looking for.
Can't remember exact settings but before boost (all maxed) felt like 10/10, trail felt...
I wonder actually if my experimenting was inconsistent and if it is something else, because when I first noticed this behaviour it was on climbs, and obviously the max torque supplied by eco is very low. Perhaps it was the torque assist topping out, and not helping me any more and hence that's...
I've ridden my H15 about 70 miles so far and on my last ride I noticed some strange behaviour.
It seemed that when switching from boost (which is maxed out in the app) to trail or eco the motor feels very very "draggy". Like it is holding me back instead of assisting. I thought at first it was...
