I have heard from others that at our height, the 150mm post on he medium is too high. When I get fitted for my h15 I will probably need the 125mm post max. I hope my LBS are accommodating.
Thanks. Amusingly I just measured myself for the first time in 20+ years and found out I am 5ft6, not 5ft5 as I always thought. Haha. Nice surprise. This puts me a little more into the medium.
Posted the same question on the Facebook group. Almost all of 5ft5 to 5ft7 including several women...
I'm just waiting for my Rise by slightly concerned about sizing.
I'm 5ft5 (165cm) which seems to suggest a medium (Orbea says 4ft11 to 5ft5 for small, 5ft3 to 5ft9 Medium), but I could fit both.
I tried a medium in the shop and it seemed ok, but they had no small - I can also get a good deal...
That's what their quote says. They also offer CX-ray spokes for £80 more which reduces the weight to 1685g which is crazy for alloy 30mm wheels. For reference, Race Face Turbine R wheels are 1815g and double the price. They get the rims direct from a large OEM supplier in Taiwan and the rims are...
FYI years riding = forever, skill level = beginner!
"If you dont know the difference between Performance and Performance Elite, you probably shouldnt have that much adjustments anyway." I am aware of the differences between these specifications for other Fox products, but hadn't seen anything...
They are custom made by dcr wheels in the UK. Bitex 212 hubs, dt Swiss dlight spokes, and a 30mm 490g 29er rim. Cost only £400 built and delivered. Lifetime guarantee and free trueing.
Have just found out that that float x rear shock on the H15 is a cheaper oem version and not the one with the blue alloy knob that has 11 clicks of low speed compression damping. There is very very little info about this shock apart from a thread on it here...
I'm still waiting. I've been told February. But nothing more. Honestly the choice between m20 and H15 was harder than choosing my kids names! I've gone on a bit of a spending spree already. A flite carbonio saddle saving 90g, a next sl bar saving 170g, a funn stem 45g, the wheels saving 580g...
Congrats. The m20 is a great bike. Kind of jealous. Only thing I'd change from stock are the wheels. They weight 2285g, incredibly heavy same as the ones on the H15 and h30. I have already ordered a custom pair of 30mm rims which are 1715g. Even though I have no bike yet! Haha.
Hey. Interesting build. Those thin brake hoses you spoke of. Are those due to the 2 pot calipers or the budget brakes. Are the hoses in the 6100 brakes suitable for a 4 pot caliper upgrade? I never heard of anyone complain about them before. Thanks.
The main downside is they tend to weigh a couple of kilos more, which doesn't matter really on an ebike. That's about it. Cube also have a reputation for horrendous customer service and wriggling out of warranty claims.
Thanks.
I'm pleased and disappointed at the same time. I kind of wish it was a fat heavy beast so I could justify spending money to save some weight. But the cost to benefit ratio not high enough. Bummer!
Haha, very similar to my thought process. I think that both bikes will be awesome. The H is just having the price put up though by 8% or so. Some sellers have already increased, some next week. I don't know if the m bikes will increase too.
