Roof rack, I would like to check:
Inno (weight limit = 23kg)
Yakima frontloader (weight limit = 18kg)
Thule Upride (weight limit = 20kg)
[All of these, are out of stock where I live...]
Unfortenatly with UK out of UE, buying stuff over there has became real expensive (paying taxes and customs...
Had/Have one.
My word: I wouldn't buy, it has a Big Design Flaw!
Let me explain.
On picture one, you can see the support and then:
The red semi-circle is the front wheel, being the red arrow "W", the weight of the front Axle.
This weight is then transfer to the Menabo Chrono:

Hi!
Regarding safety, 2 wheel vehicles will be safer than shady submarines, and less safe than a sofa!
The value is something personall.
But usually sports/tech items have a higher depreciation than anythinylg else...
In the future there is a high probability that ebikes cost less than 4/5k...
The limiting factor will always be tire grip. Although there are ways to have better grip with the same tire. ex: better suspension tune / design. Nevertheless at the end of the day, its tire grip that will be the limitinh factor.
On rotor sizes, I believe that by using less lever force on...
On big rotors:
You'll have higher leverage (bigger diameter) - less pulling force at lever require to desacellarate the EB
Bigger area in each rotation - less heat in the disk for same length you're braking
Would love to try HOPE V4 with vented disks - although I'm really happy (and surprised)...
btw, any info on bolt size (lenght)?
@Rob Rides EMTB
It would be nice to have a sticky post at the begining of the Strive Post, with this kind of information.
It could be added at later date:
Maximum tire size, maximum disc brake size, compatability components, etc...
Thanks!

First of all let me refer that I only have 150km (over 3000m acumulated) on the bike.
FOX FLOAT X
1st impressions aren't good nor bad. It's a shock.
I don't find it so bad that requires a immediate change, and I'm still dealing with the rebound knob and pressure to attain a better mid support...
Ride the bike, sort it out tire pressure/suspension setup and then plan changes.
DB8 have good power, good modulation and feel.
Only gripe is really disk/pad contact, but only noticed on tarmac sections.
When the DH is really DOWN, and not mellow down, or "flat", then I don't find any problem.
But on "dhish trails" (Mellow/"flat"), yes, it's a big problem, because you need speed to air this 25kg things! And pedal beyond 25km/h is much worse than on a MTB.
Another big problem with the speed...
The front tire is:
Maxxis Assegai 3C MaxxGrip
Width: 2,5"
Rear tire is:
Maxxis Minion DHR II 3C MaxxTerra
Width: 2.4"
So it's normal that the laser doesn't align itself.
Have you measured the gap between the front tire and the inner part of the fork stantions? it should be equal.
If it's...
After one (very short) ride, headset just come loose.
I torqued down the steering cap, but it went loose after some riding.
Completly disassembled, and reeassembled the headset, and will try again if it maintains it's tightness.
first time with cables going trought headset, but first experience...
Hi!
I'm a bit picky with noises, and have noticed a small taktak noise (vey low volume) from the downtube (it is also felt very very lightly on the handlebars?
First I thought it had a loose front wheel/headset bearings... but now I supose it's the internal cables/battery.
Anyone with same...
The maths it's up to the owner ;)
Personally, if I had "Upgradits Sindrome", I would start with the Underdog, keeping all original equipment for a future sell or
choose the higher spec (RACE), selling all bits (I supose easier than the Mid level bike), and going this root, would have the RACE...
Hi! I ride a Trek Rail with a Lyrik 170/160 coil at the back.
Would this bike worth the difference in terms of money (selling mine and spending a lot more)?
Ps: I really like my ebike, but wonder what could be gained in terms of speed/confidance in the rough trails.
