I’m a fan of the DH22. I have the old wire bead version, front and rear. The new version has slightly lower knobs they say and is flexible bead, so weighs a bit less I’m guessing. Anyone tried both versions? Any difference in performance?
All I here on this forum is “it’s got more power”. Those people are barking up the wrong tree. 35Nm KSL is enough. Range on the other hand is another question.
Just be careful with the hose pipe when cleaning or don’t use one at all, just brush and sponge around motor.
If you have problems outside warranty there is a company in the UK that can fix Mahle motors most of the time. They are e- Bike Motors.
Some of the new Michelin tyres look interesting, check them out. Not tried yet but have been running DH22’s over winter. Not for summer, probably the DH16 or ebike Racing Lines.
Specialized Cannibal is a good buy, I’ve got one to try out. They are around £45 each.

Noticed Michelin have reintroduced a DH16. They say it’s for hard to mixed conditions whereas the new DH22 FB is for mixed to soft conditions. FB stands for folding bead, in case you didn’t work that one out. I wonder if DH22 front with DH16 rear for summer might be a good option. Anyone tried...

Anyone tried a Eliminator Grid Gravity T7/T9 on the back paired with a Cannibal on the front? Or is Cannibal both ends a better option with almost the same roll?
£6,500 for new Comp. So why not this price or even lower from the beginning 2.5 years ago? Then they wouldn’t have ended up with a wharehouse full of stock and had to delay the launch by 12 months.
